I think the salesman was probably drunk at that time

I don't know much about fuel pump but my bike is approx. 2 years old, even after continuous ripping it had required only a few engine checkups(periodic maintainence). The engine is mostly maintainence free, a few replacements(Oil filter, Brake fluid etc). No drop in performance/mileage.It's working fine. No,problem with it absouletly
.If you lube your chain yourself and also do top ups, then the general servicing would be really cheap.
As far as new R15 is concerned ,no official news yet but may be true. All you can do is wait (if you can).
P.S. :I'm not a Yamaha Salesman ,I'm just 110% satisfied with it.

could someone please please discuss about the rear brakes! I feel too much pressure has to be applied, are they normally like that ( in other brands like the p220 or the apache the brakes hit once u apply slight pressure on the foot lever)... please throw some light on this..just want to know if the brakes are set like that or is it something i have to get it checked! its done 970kms on the odo!
damn .....that why i tried normal this time i.e 72.46 per liter something, and can you tell me the name of that additive offered by yamaha ppl.
Being used to his P220, my friend cudn't use the R15's braking ability to its max..
..... but the problem with bunks here is you never know the quality, at one point in my old bike i didnt feel there was any difference between the ordinary and xtrapremium., so went back to normal fuel..for the r15 im planning to try out shell for once, to see the difference....
