  • @hellbreaker46 I dropped the idea earlier but then I saw a few modded ones on you tube that looked amazing. So I decided to get it done! I called some guy in Delhi but he is asking for 10k for a clip on! STEEP!

      Replace it.
Rs85K for 3500kms old R15 is a pretty good deal.Hope the owner did the running in properly, even if he didn't, no problem.
Check for engine oil, oil filter etc. replacement as given in the owner manual.Have you seen/examined the bike.????

i've gone thru two pairs in the past year... the rubber seems to go flaccid.

it's bloody annoying... the things just keep falling off.

pretty embarrassing too... when someone points that it's popped out.

and yes... incase u're wondering... the indicators were fitted properly.
Use fevicol to stick the blinkers, it won't fall off.
Even if you use feviquick, after a few days it'll again come off.
The best possible (cheap) solution is to stick it using fevicol

The price is good for the mileage, though i'm concerned that it appears you have not even checked the bike out in person, this is like the blind leading the blind, bottom line don't trust anyone (except maybe Parsi Lady Doctors) don't put stickers they just look too cheesy, I recall seeing one fellow in a Swift in Bombay had a shopping list on the front doors of the things he wanted to install, guess he must be crossing each one off as he gets the stuff! Just get the bits painted, having said that I can't find the colour code for my bike, hope this helps.

Why has the paint faded, I paid over 90k for an R15 just under 2 years old a couple of months ago with 1500km on the odo, the paintwork was good, no fading at all, maybe not to my standards but still good, it's probably best to replace the part, as far as I know you won't get the paint shade or colour code easily. Confirm with your friend.

                    • I checked the level in svc & it was fine & i still had a doubt.

So i checked the radiator coolant flow myself. In the left side it seems to be letting out the coolant out in both the hoses, small & big one & when i take it out liquid flows out.

In the right side, small hose seems to be connected to the resovior (not sure)

The big hose seems to be pumping fluid back to the radiator(inlet hose) but it does not do that.
It pumps very small amount of fluid when the RPM goes above 5k & does not pump any coolant or circulate coolant below 5K.
So i think this is why my engine heats up as there is no coolant flow below 5K & i dont cross 5K RPM : (

Just get some sticker job done. When my R15 had fallen I made the tricolour on the side panels and it was really looking good (better than the stock) I must say.

Why are you so worried?? A new R15 will always heat up more, even for a few kms the radiator fan will come on. Don't be so much worried..

Thats a t10 holder . you will need to get a t10 holder type led yellow color for the indicator .Getting t10 yellow color will be difficult as no one keeps them in stock. you will need to order them Even i wanted to convert the Parking bulbs to indicator but i fixed a huge led instead
