      • Hello Everyone,

Something funny happened today, i was leaning on a curve when my right foot scraped the ground two or three times, it was on the footrest of the rear brake lever pointing downwards, i was surprised that i was actually leaning in that low, I was just wondering what if i scrape the footrest on the ground if i try to lean any more , will i fall ?

        • Be careful about you foot.
it can be really dangerous and result in serious injury if it gets caught somewhere on the road.

Also regarding scraping of the footpegs, Thats not really an issue as these are spring loaded and can fold if subjected to force.

Be careful about the leg though.
          cheers.

          • thats all r15 is all about!
B carefull abt tyre pressure when u lean. incorrect pressure may lead to serious skidding.
dont force the leans. let it come naturally.

PM joel, he will tell you the details. Check out the threads started by him , they contain all the discussion in details. I am seriously thinking of going for the mods myself.

I've always ridden at 28/32 psi , is that ok ?

                  • A post after long time. I mean the bike is all well so far. But last afternoon was my worst time ever with this bike. After 2 yrs, going more than 16k+. I went for shopping with wife and while I started the bike from parking, it did not start! Not much surprised, open the fuel tank for 1/2 min, and tried to start again! Alas, still did not wake up. I tried for next 40 mins...Not any help. Push start did not help..(I hv nvr tried that, may b thts the reason). It was Sunday, so my friend could not get a mechanic. It was evening time. I send my wife home. Got some water. Cooled myself. Poured some water on tank with frustration, another press on ignition and its up !!!
Damn, after 1 hr of all sort of trouble !
Now I am very much worried. I usually go on long trips. If such kind of problem comes, then it will be a big problem. I did not get any battery or engine fault light. Need help urgently. What could be the issue?
                    I do blog.

ONLY 2 problems might cause ....
                      1. spark plug [better to clean or replace it after every 5k kms]
                      2. Battery low

I am using Iridium IX from 5k onwards. Do you think I need to replace it? I guess it stays longer. Might need to clean.

If battery goes down, we should get the warning light, isn't it?

Is this could be due to dirt in fuel pump. If so, what can be done to clean?

Did you have power to your console? if yes did your started try to crank? was the bike in gear? or was the kill switch button pressed.

I had a similar issue on saturday, the bike was in my house and was installing hids, to run both in low and high beam, during my testing, the engine was off, after completion nothing, wouldn't even crank, so took the bike outside, got my jump start cables (this was about an hour later) had a shower, thought i'll give it one last try and she fired up, went for a 10km ride to charge, since then no problems.

Do check your battery terminals for a good connection.
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !
