      Dude,
The same happens to me. When I travel around 8-10 KM I can notice some heat in the rear tyre. The more I travel around 40-50 KM in same day, I have noticed higher temperature rise. I guess, it's normal as the road we travel absorbs more heat during these days!

P.S. Haven't found any heat during morning time! Nothing to Worry About!

The crosswinds were insane - the BETL is a 10 km long flyover with minimal tall buildings around it, so winds blow at high speeds.

When I was at 70-80 kmph, it was like I was fighting with the bike - had to correct the course continually. The winds literally drag you away from your path. And sometimes the gaps in the winds will suddenly make you fall over on that side. In the beginning, I thought my tires had low air pressure. It was that severe. So, it was me against the wind!

But getting fed up with the winds, I wanted to reach the end of the flyover! I increased the speed to above 100kmph. Unexpectedly, the bike got a lot more stable - the winds were affecting it, but it was quite manageable. No sudden veering away and no sudden about to fall over feeling.

But now the wind blast from the front was on me in full force! Since that is constant, did not affect me much. But could not ride for long at that speed due to traffic conditions.

I feel above 100kmph is when the aerodynamics come into play and make the bike a bit stable.

its not normal its good more tyre is warm better is the grip motoGP riders try hard to keep there tyre warm and you are worrying about it.

Very true , I take that road every day to college ... it's INSANE cross winds everyday almost . I've ridden n partly owned the R15 and it does suffer a bit ... the FZ16 did not suffer too much on the road . the only problem with maxing out the stretch are the interceptors ... between 11am to 2pm they park themselves near the by-lane ... what i do is , slow down when i'm approaching that by-lane sign board and cross it and then let fly
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

Is it really true? what's the physics behind this? As we all know, after heating everything expands! Expanding too much may lead to burst! But, how does it help in gripping! I may be asking stupid, but clear my mind!

OT - I don't understand how interceptors can stop vehicles zipping at 80kmph on that 2 lane flyover. Its plain simple dangerous.

                      • I have been getting strange noise from front panel of my bike. Its sort of beep sound that comes at around 40KMPH. The noise keeps increasing as I accelarate. I got it rectified during my first and second service. But the noise keeps reoccuring after fews days from servicing.

Does anyone have any idea how do I get it fixed. The service guys seems to provide me only a temporary fix.

                          Dude,
You park bike on main stand or side stand? And do u switch off the petrol tap when you park?[Jokes Apart]

In my guess it must be an Air-Lock in the fuel tank probably due to excessive heat during day time, which vanishes off when you open the tank cap & start it. It's not a matter of big issue, I guess!

                          Keep updating buddy!
