    • has anyone ever thought of rewinding of r15's starter coil ??
r15 's coil has 18 poles just like r125 but its charging is much better than r15 as R15 stator has 19 AWG Copper windings, R125 has 18 AWG DAM!!!!!!!!
moreover the r125's stator coil is about 3mm biggerthan r15's f*ck
and that is way r15's standard output is
      14.0v 160W @ 5k rpm
      where r125's standard output is
      14.0v 235W @5k rpm
      and r125's headlight is 55w*2

if we can rewind the r15's startor coil then running 55w light's will become ease

*First three gears are now real hard & I'm unable to slot my ride in Neutral.

*When I pull clutch & leave throttle inorder to slow down, the rpm stucks in 2k range & drops as the bike comes to a halt.

So, what could be the problem? Also, 3rd Servicing was done @ 5k Kms.

thanks bro .. could you also tell me about the Motul 300V FL FS ? whats the difference between both ?

my bike has not yet completed 15000Km .. would it be good to get the FS instead of SS ?

and also after how long will i have to change oil ?

also came accross the GTOil ?? what exactly is it ?

7000 kms and 4th service It should be 3rd but as you say you did on 5k kms than i hope every service you changed oil..

Regarding gears hard how much kms you have completed in the existing oil which is guess would be semi synthetic.

Are you driving the nuts out of the bike from the day you bought her?

Regarding the RPM setting check the bolt for idle setting or check for the sensors linked to that, and secondly why you need to press clutch and leave accelerator to slow down? R15 has got a very good engine braking so pressing clutch will not give you effected engine braking.

Existing Oil is around 2044 Kms old (Yamalube SS) & I never abused my ride. I know about engine braking but what I'm trying to say is that earlier the RPM use to drop to 1.2K without any delay if I pull clutch & leave accelerator but now it stucks @ 2K & reduces only when the bike completely stops.

the bike is of sept2010 and has clocked 17000km
checked at the svc. the shock has become very weak the mech said needs to replace the shock not he whole assembly.
had a bad impact in a pothole with a 110kg pillon at abt 95kmph. thus thenafter the ride height has become about 5 to 6 cms less and the rear tire bangs on the underseat body at bumps thus riding single till the shock arrives.

can it be anything else than monoshock damage coz there is no visible damage to the link.

Ofcourse its maintenance free battery. All R15 are equipped with maintenance free battery only. Have checked the electricals but not the battery charging rate. How to find out the battery charging rate? Do I have to go to the A.S.S. for that?
