So what are the adjustments do I need to make to fit in the Amaron battery , guys who have shifted to amaron plz help !!!

Another option is the tata green battery which is a direct fit , but it seems no brainer coz i was quoted Rs.1400 for a 3.5amp one with only 2yrs warranty .
I meant to answer your question but my system crashed and I've got it back just today. Sorry for the delay.

Here's the procedure to fit the AMARON battery.

    1.Take the old battery out.

    2. When you look inside the battery box, you will see a black foam piece at the bottom of the box. This is here to serve as a cushion for the battery. Take this foam piece out by using pliers/finger/anything else that you may think will get it out.

    3. Once it is out, the Amaron battery will fit. But it'll be loose so take a few rags of old cloth and fill up the gaps so the battery fits in tightly.

    4. COnnect the battery and you're good to go.

There is a loophole though. You can keep a part of the bike (say, the mudguard) in the original color and change the remaining body color. That way you do not have to change it in the RC book.

Parth trying to keep the costs low without compromising the quality . It should be around 1100-1500/- . the r15 shape is too complex so trying to make it look good. but what is your feedback on it ?

              - let the grab rails stay
              - Put in a slight back rest
              - If possible make it slightly wider so that in case of a spill it will act as a spool of sorts

Satyen thanks for your comments. The grab rails cant stay as they are too bulky and there is no chance of fixing both at a time. I have made this so that it can be fixed during tours. This works as a grab rail also. Cant make this wider as it looks ugly . The current design looks sleek and blends with the bike and it can take 20 kgs of luggage easily .

I think,if something can be done to prevent the sideways movement of the baggage, then it would be perfect.
Also if an LED strip (Probably red) is added to the end part of the rack, it will look super cool. Just my thoughts.

Sorry for the OT guys.Just thought to share this here to get proper guidance.

                      • Hello,

I own a 2011 R15... I am facing a engine stalling problem. Stopping the engine for 2-3 hrs after doing some 40-50kms, my bike does not start. And it needs a push start. Faced this problem twice. Any of you faced this kind of issue ? Help please.

It's too small. Think of your potential customers, only guys who are into hardcore touring will buy a touring rack. And for guys like these, it is too small. My advice is make it as large as possible and don't think about how it'll look. Sometimes it's a matter of function over form.

                              • Does the fuel pump keep working, while the bikes off??
Cause my friends bike which was idle for about 3hours, kept emitting the slight humming sound continuous with short breaks of 5 secs or so.
