    Has anyone faced same issue.

    Srinath bhai..

I think it might be a battery issue. It may not be charged to the adequate level.

I haven't faced any problems similar to you but I have faced an issue in which my bike's orange indicator used to glow frequently
After getting it charged at the SVC ,it became normal as earlier.
So you can give it a try,IMHO..

BTW how is your bike behaving at night?

Wanted to ask this since quite sometime..

Whenever I brake a little harder on my bike, I tend to slip forward.Even though I grab the tank tightly with my thighs, still I feel that there is a little dragging forward..

So has anybody pasted any strip (don't know what to call it) on the tank where the thighs grab the tank in order to get a small amount of friction between the thighs and the tank to prevent any slippage.
I have another idea-I have seen this kind of strip called anti-slip or anti-friction pad being used in cars on the dashboard to keep cellphones etc. on. Maybe you could try cutting out a piece of that?
If you are willing to make your bike the scapegoat, others will also benefit.

I'm attaching a pic of stomp grips-donno how much they'll cost for importing&whether it'll be worth though.

You might want to rather put a seat cover... cheaper and can be customised.

IF you WANT a stomp grip, you can always get a strip and cut it according to your requirement
You mean stick a seat cover onto the tank just like that?
I thought you would say put some padding behind&then stick it-man, that sounds weird!

I guess your battery is unable to handle the HID. Check with others who are using the same setup.

        .
        Ok Bro...
This is what I think can be done..

Take a tank pad, preferably the yamaha one,if its available (because of its larger size),Source the anti-slip pad from a car garage.
Paste the same over the tank pad.Cut the tank pad into 2 equal halves and stick it on both sides of the tank.
The main reason why I think of using the tank pad is that it can be removed from the tank without hampering the paint of the tank, rather than pasting the anti-slip pad directly on the tank using some adhesives.

Please pour in some opinion depending on what you think about this.

        • Had an unfortunate incident on NH13 yesterday. Luckily i got away with 2 minor abrasions but my bike got it pretty bad near the right headlight (see pic below). What can i do about this? Is it a replaceable panel or should i get it painted? And how much approx. will it cost?

I believe you'll need to replace the panels, I understand you can't paint them, as yamaha don't give the paint code and new panels come pre finished, should be fairly cheap, maybe 3-4 grand or so? maybe less, that's the headlight cowl and the upper right panel as well.

Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

                    • Rear Tyre Options

                      Hi All,

Is anyone using any of these two ?

                      Rear:
                      1. Michelin Pilot Sporty: 100/80x17" Michelin PILOT_SPORTY - SPORT MILEAGE Front Tyre 100/80-17 M

                      2. Pirelli MT75: 100/80x17" MT 75 , Motorcycle Tyres - PIRELLI
                      Price Rs.2300.

I just wanna know, how do these behave on a road patched with sand and gravel, the stock ones are scary even on the smallest patch of gravel and rear tyres is due for a change so i am considering new options. Any suggestions would be welcome.
