Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

Hi Everyone This is Ramsankar from Chennai.. i own a Yamaha R15 V2.0 2014 model. i'm planning to fit Leovince GP Corsa exhaust system to it. And i've some doubts about it .

          1. Do i need to go for After-market filter like K&N or BMC for better breathing.
          2. I find a sensor like thing on the exhaust system near Engine head . is it O2 sensor or exhaust temp. sensor.
          3. Will fitting a FFE affect engine on long run.
          4. I'm currently using YAMALUBE semi synth. 15W50. can i switch to Full synthetic from shell Lubricants.

          5. And my bike is riding little rough since i feel mild fibration and sticky gear shift especially in 1st three gears.what could be the reason.

Then I've done 3.5k kms on the odo and last service done was at 3.1k kms. and i didnt use the bike for about a month after that last service. Do i need to change Engine oil irrespective of condition ( cause i'm getting different opinion from my service advisor and shell petrol pump executive. My Yamaha authorised S.A told oil is fine no need to worry about it but the Shell petrol pump guy told my bike oil looses its viscosity so should change it)

I understand this is a lengthy post. But I could get and solid suggestion so please throw light on my problems and doubts.

          Thanks in Advance..

          Dear bro

YAMAHA ecu is closed loop ecu ,Means it don't need any o2 sensor, still let me check And revert for exact ans.

Free flow exhaust will never hurt ur engine, as they help in reducing back pressure, which makes engine to make more torque.

          Free flow Air filters!

I m also asking Same for free flow Air filter.

Oil use motul 300v for yamaha R15 v2.0 ,this one is perfect mate for our 149cc engines.

Use motocool from motul for cooler engine operations.

          Hope I helped u.
Feel free to ask anything regarding R15 v2.0

First of all get ur facts right Yamaha r15 v1 n up to 2014 v2s were all open loop which means it doesn't have an o2 sensor and if its a closed loop then its bound to have an o2 sensor so don't mix it up. No comments about ffe n fffs had enough of the free flow thingies....
Personally I stay away from 300v had horrible low oil level issues with it in city riding. I had been putting cheap oil n junking it fast than putting an expensive oil n dragging it for long while topping up frequently ever since..
About coolant no issue in going with motocool but you can also use radicool and mix it with proper distilled water before using it...

First of all Bro Thanks for correction.

But for motul 300v ur like bit wrong.

Most smoothest coolest performance wise top most recommended oil all over 150 Cc treads. Seems either u don't know YAMAHA or ur not aware of th3.

Once again Thanks for correction dear.

You can get simota filter with race concepts in bangalore or with Hermes racing store in chennai
                        Try searching them in facebook

I stay with stock . once used a knn stock replacement filter with altered CO setting in the ECU for some day didn't find it worth anything simota is also similar to knn in that it too is a paper filter which requires frequent cleaning n oiling so my view is staying with stock is best
