Will do that asap. ThanksOriginally posted by veyron999 View Postas sheelpriye said, get your injectors cleaned...
there could be some unwanted stuff at the bottom of the tank which got into the fuel pump, injector assembly...
nothing more than that would have happened..
just take her to the svc, tell them your problem, don't tell them how it happened..see what they say, act accordingly..don't delay showing it to them, even the manual says, if the bike misfires, don't ride even one more km, take it to the svc right away!
edit: one more reason for not giving bike to friends..
Tankfull done this morning only. Will go to svc asap. ThanksOriginally posted by Shivanshu View Postwell get it checked with SVC for any damage done to the FI system while running her dry. Just dont tell them how it happened, tell them all of a sudden it happened. Also if you can fill her up to the top (full tank) and try riding then. But IMO you should just go to the SVC guys and get the problem rectified ASAP to cause any further damage.

NOt sure , but a loose clutch cable mite be a problem , get it checked at the svc .. asap .. another way to check is to let the rear wheel run free on stand and leave the clutch , see if the rear wheel rotates ...Originally posted by dis-is-sid View Postam facing a problem .... while coming to a stop when i shift down to neutral and leave the cluth the bike gives a jerk and dies out

happens with me too..sometimes though..Originally posted by dis-is-sid View Postam facing a problem .... while coming to a stop when i shift down to neutral and leave the cluth the bike gives a jerk and dies out

happens when you depress the gear shift lever just short from what is required to actually put it in neutral..the neutral indicator goes on but the transmission is kind of stuck between neutral and the gear..after it switches off, most probably if you start it again, it would be in neutral (perfect neutral)..
try to feel the slight click when you put the bike into neutral..will come by experience..no big deal..
what happens with me though is that while shifting from 1st to 2nd, the transmission gets stuck in neutral, specially while i'm taking a U-turn, the bike is too fast for 1st gear, i try shifting, i many a times get stuck in neutral..is dangerous at times..
any pointers?after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

it anyway is a general trend that a bike tends to get smoother along the line...

Even I sometimes get stuck in the neutral while shifting from the 2nd to 1st! I guess I go very gentle on the gears while shifting lol!:-Dsigpic

Id prefer replacing my fork oil at 40k kms ,
Replace only if u you feel that the front is nose diving too much and has got softer , else the dive on the stock is perfect and doesn need any touching until and unless you have opened it for a fork bend removal or such matter.
