What about the tyre hugger and the R125-like mudguard you were talking about? You said you'll do a minor welding for it which would be in warranty limits..
Fz tyre huggers are most easy fit on R15 other's need brain plus alot of welding!!
    Will show u soon..
If ur doing some modification then dont expect much from warranty..
Especially when ur making a HOLE is ur swingarm!!

Sorry i just checked my PM from KMD and i made a mistake. NY tax is 0$

But all products are shipped to NY before shipped to India. That is my understanding but it can and may vary depending on various things.

The price increase was with respect to certain other variable = shipping cost to india + NY based on the weight.

for example a 15 $ value item weighing 3lbs/1.5kilo will cost an additional 5$ shipping cost to NY and additional 1000rs+/- over its INR value for shipping. (750+250+1000). Depending on the USD/INR rates.

So the final price will apply based on the shipping price and custom duties which may apply to riding gears. As the item that i required was a consumable (food based i.e)

KMD is reliable as far as i know you can go with him.

Can u please PM KMD's quote for the items. I've not tried getting any riding gear from US...so far
      Thanks alot for the xplaination!
I have already asked for the quote, will update as soon as possible!

Probably there might be a puncture, get it checked in place where these tubeless tyres' punctures are done. They generally check the puncture by brushing the soap water on to the tyres, and if there is a puncture the air leak will create bubbles...[]

And in case the puncture check dosn't yeilds any positive results then check for minor rim bents!!

Any rim which measures 17" or bit +/- can be fitted into r15.
Though u would be literally playing with your bike while doing this!!

P.s.- never did or though bout it nor advisable by any means to do this neither it will yeild any good results until or unless inpired by a good serch, reserch and r&d invested!

If the rim is 17" exactly then yes! it can hold a tubless R15 stock tyre!!

BTW.. why are u so much interested in the p150 rims??

I dont think its possible. Though, RIM might hold tubeless tyre.
But what will you do for disc holder? P150 does not come with disc.
I think you can try P220 Rim. Since it has disc holder.

                      • Y would any 1 want to fit a p150 rim to an r15 ?

dont tell me u want a wider rim and fit a wider tire ?

                        1st , its not possible ,
                        2. 150's/even 220's rim is heavy (yam designers are not dumb to give light weight rims and make holes in the hub)
                        3. even if u manage to modify the p150 rim and fit it , do u no the swing arm width in the YZF-R15 ? It ll touch. You ll need to expand the swing arm
4.As an effect of point 3, The chain will go for a toss .
                        5.Unnecessary circus and time waste
                        6 . U need any more clarifications ?
                        7. Yes u can fit the R15 tubeless tire on a p150 17' alloy.

                        • I think jayan is planning for P150 rim as it is stronger than R15 rims.

Take a small bottle of soap water and put a few drops of it on
                            1) all the cracks\punctures visible on the tyre... then
                            2) pour in a few drops on the border of the rim (where the tyre touches the rim)

keep an eye for air bubbles.... if you see air bubbles on the RIM, then its time for you to get your rim fixed\replaced... (fixing happens only on minor bents)

If you see air bubbles on the tyre then congrats you have a puncture and you now need a tubeless repair kit for DIY or head to the local puncture wallah who repairs tubeless tyres!

                            • Jayan, if you want to try, is it possible to try the P150's front alloy instead of the rear one?

The front alloy would be smaller than the rear one, weighing lesser than the rear one and possibly fitting in the swing arm... also, the disc would have a provision to fit in but are the mounts same??? (I guess not!)

                              • ISnt the R15 alloy strong ?
I ll show u places where iv taken it , n its survived .
Main thing is that get ur air pressure right always that the tire takes the beating and not the alloy.
Give me a reason as to how the p150 alloy is better in any sense.Does heavier mean stronger ?

When u get a bad pothole , the so much praised Zma enkei alloys have also bent . So Its nothing to do with that a pulsie alloy can withstand any beating.

                                That was my 2 cents.
