hey guys my bike has done 1200kms till now thinkin to change to MOTUL 5100T 15w 50 soon, any feed back on that ?

Who has recently purchase (last 3 months) R15 blue color model, please let me know that what is bike engine and chassis manufacturing year?

It’s urgent, since I am fighting with Yamaha west regional officer

i got mine 15th of oct..
i read my VIN,manufac year is 2009(10th digit of VIN is 9)

As my bike's 1st service is due, i was thinking to go for a full synthetic engine oil? What yours take on it?
The bible says the recommended oil is 20w 40type sg.
What is the difference between these oils? & what is the benefit of a full synthetic? Should i opt for it???

confirmed mfy 2009 on insurance doc,i got it from jinder yamaha,saraswati vihar,new delhi

I've been using motul 5100T for the past 600 kms. The only difference I feel is that the bike has become a lot smoother at higher rpm.
BTW i think that you should wait for a few hundred kms before going for semi-synthetic.
Isn't 1200 kms a bit early????

hey guys, what is the cost of front visor, some idiot damaged it while the bike was parked and there is a huge scratch on it...need to replace it

If only the visor is damaged, you are lucky-it costs Rs.125 odd. Make sure it is fitted correctly, the mirrors, numberplate etc.also need to be removed while fitting. Don't try it yourself if not sure. I did it once-it took a long time.
Hope the dome is not damaged-that would cost Rs.300 odd.
Anyways, how did this happen? Be careful with your bike-you seem to have had a couple of mishaps in the last few days!
