@everyone - welcome. ill be putting up the gladiator service manual also soon. I have a number of parts catalogs for yamaha specifically, like RX100, enticer, RX135 the post 2000 models . Except the RXZ 5 speed catalog or service manual. If anyone has access to the RX135 5 speed or the RXZ 5 speed cat con model service manual, that would be highly appreciated!

Yesterday paid a visit to the yamaha showroom..to my suprise there were no r15's. When asked the showroom incharge, he said yamaha pulled back all r15's and is coming with the latest model of r15 with the rear altered..he also added that many people cribed about the rear section specialy the tires, hence yamaha is working on it and it also is going to have some new features in the new model..the pricing is definitly not gona be the same, And he also said something regarding r125's launch but i didnt show any interest to it...
So anyone have brief details about new r15 here? Kindly share it.

Last weekend I had been to a dealer in Pune. And I was surprised to see lot of R15, FZ's, Fazer in stock. I asked about the replacement of the rear tyre of R15 and he offered me 120/80 (MRF, I was not serious aboutit and hence did not ask whether they were the same soft compound tyres), but didn't mention any thing on this development. he also mentioned that R125 will be launched in 5-6 months with a better look than R15, he said, if I can wait, that will be a good option. Also asked him of 250 Fazer, he said can't confirm on this as Yamaha is currently concentrating on R125 and Eco Bikes. I will go to the same dealer this weekend and check out on this development on R15.Originally posted by Seamus View PostYesterday paid a visit to the yamaha showroom..to my suprise there were no r15's. Help guys!!!
Tonight, I was just talking over the phone while the bike was parked with the parking lights on. After 10 min, she just refused to crank. When I pressed the starter, only the display flickered and I could hear a trrrr... sound from underneath the seat.
Had to push start the bike
Then, once I got home, I turned off the bike and tried starting her again, and voila! she just purred to life as if nothing was wrong :0!!!!!
Is it ok to push start an FI bike?
Does my battery need replacement?

Post moved and merged
@hifisharu: You already posted about it here, so there was no necessity to start another thread for it.
EDIT: As for your query on whether push starting an FI bike is harmful.. No it is not!
I left my 08 R1 with the fans running to cool it down and forgot to turn it off after the fans switched off. It was on for about 6 hours. Result: Dead batter...

Anyway, as long as you have enough juice in the battery to power up the ECU, you're fine with a push start. If the ECU doesn't power up, then you'll have to charge the battery up. In your case, since you rode home, the battery would have gotten some charge. And no, you don't have to replace the battery.Last edited by rossiter; 11-07-2009, 01:29 AM."Tough times never last, but tough people do." - Robert Schuller

R125 news is getting hotter and hotter day by day.Originally posted by neo88 View PostLast weekend I had been to a dealer in Pune. And I was surprised to see lot of R15, FZ's, Fazer in stock. Our dealers are also giving some uncertain unconfirmed news of the 2010 R15..
Reason being that Yamaha is finishing the Old stock but is not interested in taking any new orders..
They just and only want to finish the old stock. And this new attitude had started only 1-2 weeks ago, before that they were doing fine and good. Contextually it somhow confirmes that there is somthing serious happenning in the Yammy Stables. On one hand they are preparing for the R125 that is sure but maybe they though like all the other R series bikes there should be an upgrade to the existing R15. This news confirmes after the statment that they are selling the pre 09 engines in the TRC models too..
Mine fingers are crossed..
