Guys anyone of you can give me the part number of the silencer iron cap (not the plastic one) the one that is inside the plastic cap. The iron cap fits on the edge of the silencer and then that plastic cap is fit onto it.

I broke mine and now the dealer wants me to give them the part number
so that they can order it from India. I live in Nepal and its been almost 3 months i have been waiting to get my parts replaced after my accident. please help me out. I hope u understood which part i meant, its the silencer IRON cap...

will check and get back asap. as per the catalog i have without the part numbers, its called "Stay, protector". ill check the other one and tell you. Its the part on page number 11 ( number 6 ).

And tell your dealer to have a damn parts catalog... send an email.. its not the customer's duty to go fishing for part catalogs.. This is not even supposed to be with the customer.

Hmm.... I took delivery of my bike in October 2009. According to the engine and chassis number it is a 2009 model. It is a Yamaha Blue bike. However, it has a radiator mounted horn. Guess can't complaint and moan too much ... the saying about a gifted horse and all that

To my knowledge the 2009 made chassis' have the horn mount on them. But cannot stick just to that as your bike probably belongs to early 2009 before the launch of new colours then.

                    • Gentlemen,I am about to book the bike in a few days.Have two questions:
                      1. Are there any upgrades coming this year to the R15,minor or otherwise?
2.Which color? I like the yellow one. And everyone has blue and black.

                        • ^^^ Didn't try the VSX4 (semi synth) but tried the SX4 and didn't like it much. It was very good to start with but didn't last over 1500 KMs in that state.

@nightwing, so far there's no news of any upgrades coming in.

You might even try the red on white limited edition bike. Just pickup the colour you like... as such R15 will be in limited numbers.

                          • Okay a pose question-
i have tried to create the 'smoked effect' in the visor/bubble screen but have failed,
the film doesn't fit properly due to the odd shape of 15's bubble screen and idn't very aesthetically appealing, any inputs,
                            thanks
