I was indeed happy to hear dis as it increases chance of better services nd also advisible by xbhp members.

    b/w i hv some querries
    1) how much kms does a brand new r15 has on odo (they say it's abt 2 kms)
2)clutch nd brake lever on my bike seemed to be tight and that tightness too was uneven as compared to a new black r15 parked aside. What could be the reason???
Oh, man. 2 Years is a Long long time. Thats a lot of Patience you have shown. Congrats! and it should have 2km. Mine had 4km though. But, most of the ones in showroom and alike have 2km.
Clutch can be adjusted. Brake lever is tight?? Ride it and see when you get the delivery. See how it the feel and bite is at that time!

Well congrats for the purchase bro, no it is not normal for the front shockers to make any sound while going over any speed breaker. check for any oil leak from the front shockers if not any take it to the service center and get it checked.

          Hello friends,

i have recently changed my engine oil i have used the Yamaha semi synthetic oil which the company recommends, i have even topped the water coolant with motul coolant in the coolant tank, after a through check up i went out for 400kms drive on the way i cruised at above 125 kmph with atmospheric temperatures at around 42 degrees. will this effect the engine, i have found the engine to heat up easily, even after it getting fully cooled, do i need to change the entire coolant by draining the coolant from the radiator,

i have found a smalll crack on my rear wheel, i dont know what to do, i have only driven just 6000kms on my bike.

No cruising at that speed wont affect the engine at all Rajit. Well the atmospheric temperature plays a very important role in heating up the engine. But dont worry about it, this machine can take a lot of abuse. Its liquid cool engine and since you had topped up the coolant tank before leaving thats enough. Hence, no need to change the coolant. Change of coolant is done in 2years time.

            • hey ppl got my r15 today(will post the pics soon). It was overall tensed and even horrifying experience for me as after mech. test drive, engine oil was dripping from it approx. from the place where side stand is located, they told that the engine seal was broken, they took her down in workshop opened the engine side, collected the engine oil and replaced the seal. what even worries me the more is that to compensate for the lost oil they topped it up with a pink oil.

              Is there anything to worry???
Please reply ASAP as to avoid any further damages. PLEASE

Did you ask them which was this pink oil???

How many kilometers has you bike done so far?

If done by good mechanic at service center then there is nothing to worry, but did u ask them as per why did the Engine Seal/Packing broke at first place?

                • It's Fz's yamalube oil(Rs 185). On my opposition they said it's very less in quantity and wont create problem.
my bike has done only 15kms, I purchased her today only.
It was done at showroom's wokrshop.
I was absent from the site for a while and when i came back the oil had been drained and it was blakish, is new oil is of this color only, i fear if mech changed my bike's oil with any used one

                  • Hiii friends, my bike has done 13052 on the ODO. Of late, i am facing some vibration issues. Whenever, i cross 6 to 7k rpm in each gear there are lot of vibrations even near the foot pegs. Also the engine feels very rough,it is showing not-an-R15 characteristics. I had given to a service recently but they didnt solve the issue What could be the problem??

Also my friend crashed the bike recently. Will that affect the handle, front forks or any other part???

                    Please help me

thanks a lot shivanshu but the mechanic at the Yamaha outlet asks me to change the coolant after 10k kms, on my 400kms i have observed that at 6500 rpm to 75oorpm the engine makes a different kind of sound but where as above and below that specified rpm the engine feels smooth. also i have observed a few vibrations,

guys plz do suggest abt my tyre its got a crack on it,
                      what shall i do?

Gearshifts are not supposed to be very rough especially at this point also its abnormal for engine to be noisy at that stage. However all these are relative and i suggest u compare it another R15 before u approach the SVC

A constant 100+ does no harm, but I still do make an attempt to go easy after some time of 100+ and excess speeds. Its for my psychological satisfaction. Not for the Engine. That Engine does take in a lot of abuse. Trust it!
The stand is for Rs 175 and around. That would be the RX 100's stand. Dont know about the 135. Still, wait for the reply of guys who have put it on theirs for price confirmation and etc.
