AFAIK The engine of the R15 is sourced from Thailand and that is why the price is high.If it is being produced in India then the prices should have dropped!

@All: Would you recommend gettign the radiator changed? No radiator issues thus far. My bike was purchased a year ago, and is 2009 make.
. I would suggest better to replace rather waiting something wrong to happen. It wud b disaster if it happens in a trip when you are in some remote location.

Well you can just increast the idle RPM then.
Just adjust the screw in the right side where deltabox is written.
Its a golden colour screw.

Went to one of the Yamaha dealers yesterday to enquire about baby R1. Here in Ghaziabad the on road cost is 109700 INR with one month waiting period. As I would be taking it in finance scheme, he said minimum down-payment have to be 42k at least. Is everywhere the quoted down payment price the same or it differs!?!?!Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

I really dont understand why guys here are freaking out about the engine being manufactured in India (may be its the notion that things manufactured abroad are of superior quality!). Their latest India plant is a state of the art facility on par with or exceeding international standards. Also It was being manufactured in Indonesia not Germany or Detroit! chill!Ride swift, ride safe...

^^ i seriously doubt that, because a number of issues have cropped up with the engines here.. one bike had a improperly placed seal on the crank, which devoid the head of any oil, and the bike seized up in no time.

for LE R15s, i think the dealer in gurgaon might have some available with him. His primary inventory is FZ-S, Fazer and the R15. Contact him guys, its not necessary that you need to buy from ghaziabad only.
though dont go to him for service, pathetic to say the least.
