im facing problem of misfiring, when throttle is released there's a "fataka" sound from exhaust. plz help soon.
once shown in authorised workshop, they changed the plug cap n tol if it still happens, they'll change the plug.
i dont want to change the things unnecessarily, coz the bike has only clocked 1500 kms.

hi frnds,my byk hits 18000 on odo.d service center guys r saying tht its tym 2 replace chain n sprocket...there is some sound frm d rear part..do i chang it now??

hi frnds,plz inform whether 100/80/17 michellin or pirelli is available in market??
last tym my byk was on ma garrage for abt 15 days n finally i got a 100/80/17 for 1400.d service guys said tht it WAS available for 1200.
anyways,do inform whether michellin or pirelli is available or not...

Hi all R15 owners..just wanted a piece of advice...i am getting a used R15(2008 model) @75k
I had a test drive, the chain was loose for which the owner said he will get it repaired..

Also he had replaced the rear tire 100/80 with 100/90 - will it affect performance ?

I wanted to ask whether it is a good deal or not?
What else should i look out for in the bike to test it throughly before buying?
Also i m 6"feet and well built...will R15 suit me?

mhm can i know how many kms has it done
and according to me70k is a better price..
and me too 5.11 and there is no problem with the bike sittimg ..It will take a max 3-4 days to get aqunted to it

See that youre from Cochin. Go to Auto Queen, Kaloor. They stock 100/80/17 Pirellis. I have posted pics of the tyre on this thread a couple of weeks back. Available for Rs 1900. There are no Michelins in those specs, I have checked with GoGreen.

Done 26000 kms and still the performance of the bike is awesome.
Clocked 146 kmph this Sunday on a 2 km stretch of road

One thing I believe is this is a awesome learning motorcycle!

Alright got an update here. Today I went to perfect riders to check the camp. Guess what! They are replacing old radiator. Its for the 08/09 model which sometime creates problem with the horn mounted over. Its a 1 hr work. Of course its free. In India free replacement of auto parts(Service call back) is something new for me. I am very much impressed with yamaha now.

@ Tibby: I asked if any replacement done for ppl who did servicing on saturday. Since I dont know your real name and bike no. he cud not confirm; whether if u ll b called in next days or already done on saturday.

Oh yes. I remember now. So any rumor/news about new set of tyres(fatter) for r15?
