happened with me too...not an issue..after warming the engine up, set the idling rpm to 1.3k rpm and it'll be fine...there is a DIY on how to set the idling rpm, just in case.

well, if done correctly, no damage is done..
actually in racing sports' terms it is known as power shifting..
while doing this kind of shifting, we have to rev match the transmission and the engine rpms...else, the gear shifts will be hard and gearbox will bear the brunt.
i don't think it should be practiced on a regular/day-to-day basis.

pls. correct me if i'm wrong

No, it's clutch-less shifting. Power-shifting is shifting without releasing the throttle. Throttle is constantly twisted high. During shifting, Only the clutch is depressed and gear is shifted while still keeping the throttle twisted, thus maintaining the engine RPM high at all times.
              Sunny.

Yeah, its called Clutchless shifting. Power shifting is when you dont release the throttle while shifting. Clutchless shifting is very tough and hammers the egarbox if done incorrectly..
                D'oh!

You have to release the throttle on street bikes, but for a fraction.

Clutchless Shifting is not harmful when done correctly..
When you are shifting up...one must fully release the throttle and when shifting down one must just blip the throttle so as to match the revs in the next gear... This should be avoided in day to day use because it is difficult to control the bike when shifting down the gears..

No moderate riding next time. Please.
I was already busting my bum riding this hard! Don't tell me you guys ride harder!

Right now, I'm on 7000km run depleted engine oil. With a chain that's on its final setting (and still slapping the guides). Will replace stuff and post a video.

                        • @All: I need your help urgently. I'm going for my bike's service on this Saturday, one of the mechs there is ready to fit a tyre hugger onto my bike-he wants me to buy it, he'll take care of the adjustment&fitting(he is willing to cut it, drill holes etc.also).
So which one shall I go for-Stunner or XCD125?
I need your help in order to be able to see which will fit the R15 better-Stunner or XCD125. Minor modding/cutting will obviously be needed.
Can someone please get back to me on this asap?

The Stunner's is more dimensionally appropriate for the R15. It also looks slightly better than the XCD's hugger.. SO I would recommend the Stunner's. I am myself planning on putting the Stunner's hugger, that is, as soon as I find the hugger! My city doesn't seem to have stocks for it!

Thanks, I'm checking parallely with a friend who is currently in Singapore.
Thanks neoakshay for posting the pic (Tibby&I figured out the site link from the watermark)
If that works out not too expensive, I will ditch this DIY modding option.

a question, when according to you is the best time to go in for a top speed test?? have clocked 2.5k till now, 2nd servicing due soon..
and yeah one more, at what rpm do you guys normally shift gears while riding on city roads?
