Lights lights and lights different from other bikes , thats what people are interested, even I am a lot interested or rather was much lot interested some years ago, I should have joined this forum at that time. This is my first post.
. In my scooty itself my first bike which I had I tried to put the upper beam headlight on the front brake light power, so when i press front brake upper beam will light, ( i wanted to get the PASS switch on my scooty) but it smoked the bulb after 2 days. Also got a couple of LEDs connected them with a resister ( Calculated with my some 2% knowledge of electronics) it was much better the LEDs lasted for some months. But then I felt might be my calculations were not exact, and in long run they are not turning out perfect, Now lots of blinking, flashing LED lights (both brake lights, and fancy are available) I did not try much in my hero honda super spendor just installed a series of LED lights as tail light, which ran for 2-3 months, then again got smoked. Now we dnt live in house earlier we had house with garage n all so could open up my bike very easily now as we live in flat cant do these Jugaad
. Most discussing in this thread refers to headlights only, but the recent jugaad and the most easisest of all which I have done recently is coloring the bulb. Easy for all newbies no hitech knowledge, no messing with electricals etc,,, You can color any bulb you wish but only thing if the cover is of red/amber color you cant notice the effect.
Colored my indicator bulb but it ws not noticeable since my bike has amber cover for indicator. Then colored my pilot lamp, (small lamp near headlight) that was now clearly visible, bright red color, , . Color the bulb to any color you wish (red, blue, green whatever color you want) The best colored bulbs can be used are for dashboard lights , the speedo, fuelgauge and the company name lights. Have to yet do the coloring of my speedo n fuel gauge lights
Color them blue, green, red etc and watch the diff. You can color with a permanent marker which writes on glass, buy luxar or any other brand and it dries in minutes.

Tried an LED torch on it at home, the focus is massive and clear, even in broad day light. Wonder what can be done with it? Maybe an auxillary projector for my P220F
