    • well the avenger allready have 55/60 W bulb..
      I would recommend following steps:

      1. learn and re-adjust the headlight yourself. don't trust mechanic. If you do it yourself. you only know about your preference about focus.
      2. bajaj default bulb sucks. first thing change to Philips Premium 55/60W bulb for Rs 100. available on all car bulb shops.
      3. other premium bulbs give 10-20% better lighting.. but for 600-700 extra you won't notice the difference

      4. If not satisfied. then go for HID.. with proper focus I don't think should be a prob.

      ride on..

ur bike is ac/dc bike which is not at all compatible for hid.if you need hid you need to convert the whole system to full dc with charging boost.
by default you can use 55/60 watt bulbs.use a proper good bulbs which costs 100-200 inr.i have used both phillips and osram premium serise bulbs,i would say its not really that much worth it.

2 bulbs on ac.dc bike.no boss ,i am not in favoure of it.according me what ever is fitted to bike electrical part should work all effortlessly all time.i have a p 180 ug2 which was a ac/dc bike but now i am running 2 hids which can run all day all time basis,no battery drain.

if you want to use 3 lights i strongly suddegest you please rewind and put high capacity rr which can support 144watts if done properly in full dc mode without battery drain.
currently if you fix 2 halogens the battery and rr will go for a toss after few days.one 55 watt lamp can be used in dc mode for 1 hour but battery will be drained deeply which will shorten the life of the battery.

if you want good light the best possible mod you can go for full dc mod followed by putting one bixenon 35 watt 4300k or lower ct bulb.the reflector is quite superb in avy and you have to see a hid in avy s headlamp to see what it can do.
you can also use halogen bulb of 90/100 after rewinding and rr change if u want to dont wanna spend so much money.

go at dusk/night and see light spread on road ! width and intensity of spread . all of them usually have a battery which they can take outside and connect to projector and hid and show the output . at day one cant really see difference . also see if lens has no scratches etc , and if bi xenon projector has come out of a car / is used then do check the quality of the chrome on reflector bowl . it should be spotless and very shiny .
