thanks all.yeah,i use a car cover for my bike..very easy to wrap around the whole bike.hehe.will take much better pics with Cybershot during the weekend. already had a few problems..
There was some problem with the brake light..kept on glowing with full glow, fixed it.
Then the pilot lamp (5w) and also the headlights are bit dim,if revved a bit more,it glows more...why is this happening on a brand new bike? The SVC people said its normal for all fazers. Is that true? I don't want my bike lights to look like an old scooter's lights.
Engine was getting off suddenly, right side mirror was too tight..fixed those today.already driven 104 kms...hehe!
Feeling like am riding a huge sportsbike...feels great!
A girl in college came and literally hugged the tank of the bike. She loved it so much!

Congrats for the bike -The battery is low, the same case as mine when it was new. I had to even start by pushing once, but later (10-15 days) all was normal. Try getting the battery water checked and fill up ifnecesary.Originally posted by SpeedyKol View Postthanks all.yeah,i use a car cover for my bike..very easy to wrap around the whole bike.hehe.will take much better pics with Cybershot during the weekend. already had a few problems..

while pressing the front brake the brake light at rear is not getting on. If i just open the the connection of front brake light and put it back it works and after some time again its not working..and one more bad news i don't know how the rear tyre was punctured on the side wall which can't be repaired so had to put a tube for time being..HISTORY IS NOT ABOUT WHO IS RIGHT BUT ABOUT WHO WRITES IT.......

Guys today I asked my cousin to get me front brake pads from Ganesh Yamaha. AFAIK Yamaha spares are always seal packed with part number and price mentioned on it. But these brake pads didn't had anything of this sort.
Yesterday when he went for asking for brake pads the same SVC told him that the brake pads were out of stock and today they hand him this stuff. I dont think these are genuine stuff. Need your comments on this urgently. What do you say are they genuine or fake?

I had the front brake light issue in the beginning. Just like you, the switch works once its taken out and put back again. It works for a while and then stops working again. I got it changed. Never had any issues after changing it. Looks like the brake light switch is faulty. Get it changed.Originally posted by BAMBI143 View Postwhile pressing the front brake the brake light at rear is not getting on. I also faced the same issue two days back, but mine was other way around. It was not switching off, while fixing it I broke the switchOriginally posted by BAMBI143 View Postwhile pressing the front brake the brake light at rear is not getting on. Changed it then, 75 INR for switch assembly.
Can be fake. Yammy parts always came in carton with proper label and hologram. Only once I got in cover, that was oil filter and it was not genuine, some other brand for some other bike, even the spring was missing.Originally posted by RAK View PostGuys today I asked my cousin to get me front brake pads from Ganesh Yamaha. How about the performance....?
And also you can expect a lot of dirt on the rear side without the flap.Your bike is a part of you....
