May be it lost its properties with all the dissovled dirt/carbon.
Anyway I have never tried Shell Ultra in FZ, but I have tried Motul 300V, Valvoline premium, ELF Moto Tech, Mobil Delvac 1300. Among these ELF Moto Tech4 10w50 was the best(synthetics), followed by Mobil Delvac 1300(fantastic Oil). I suggest you to try Delvac(Rs.280) as it is more economical and works great.

I was trying to change the brake pads, one of the pistons on the brake caliper has stuck. I tried opening master cylinder, bleed vavle, still it does not go in. Anybody knows how to push it back into the caliper? Is it ok to drain the brake fluid completely and then push back? What to do if even after doing that it does not go in?

Problem solved.. Had to hammer a bit, drain the brake fluid through bleed valve and then piston went in easily. Now got to refill the brake fluid and bleed.

Changed rear stock tyre of fzs to zapper q 130/70 and now bikes feels more agile. Hope puncture problem is not with this tyre.

Why do you want to change the whole headlight? If you are facing issues with low illumination from light, change the bulb to 55/60W and the problem will be solved.

AFAIK, this isn't possible. The design of tyre hugger is different.

Well, I agree the bike would feel more agile, the puncture problem would be solved and the bike might even return a slightly better average. But from my personal experience, this 130 profile tyre does not suit the FZ series.
I encountered some very bad fishtailing & stability issues on my Fazer with this tyre. Sold it off, settled with a 140/70 and still running good.

Now that you have bought it, my only advice would be to ride safe and avoid sudden braking as much as possible.

Not sure if it will fit or not. Haven't seen any FZ fitted with other bike's headlight till now.

I think there was a member who had installed round headlight. Don't remember who.

If the purpose is only to change the looks, why not install projector. Not only will it look good, the illumination will be better.

                        Ride safe and have fun.

Let the new tyre run a few hundred kms. The shiny top surface has less grip and ones that is gone, you should be able to get better grip.
As for damaged coneset, haven't faced this issue, so have limited knowledge about it.

A brand new tire would set in in about 200-300 km of riding. A little more if one only rides within city limits.

Front losing grip can be attributed to:
                              1. Overfilling air.
                              2. Bad tire fitment/alignment.
                              3. Bulge/hard patch in the tire (manufacturing defect)
                              4. Over-tightening the axle bolts. Check recommended torque for the front axle.

                              Cone set damage causes:
                              1. Kat kat sound on braking.
                              2. Kat kat sound over bumps/potholes.
                              3. Vibrations in the handlebar.
                              4. Slight reduction in precision of handle movement.
                              Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

500kms done post fitting new tyre. No kat kat sound. Vibes are present all over the bike :banghead:. Couldn't find any defect in the tyre. Been using Motul 300V since past 500kms.
