Its normal. But after a few seconds it should go down to 15-1600, not 12-1400. If that is happening, bike's fine. And like Aargee said, you can't adjust it.Originally posted by titanic4u View PostThanks buddy....
One question guys, When I am starting the bike, my RPMs reached to 1800, as i heard it should be ideally 1200-1400, how can I adjust it?" I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not" - Kurt Cobain

Ah, it's fine then.
after few seconds, it goes to ~1500-1600

And going 30+kms for tank full, don't seem a good idea.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great information brother. Any clue about RVM??Originally posted by kurtrules View PostGot the CBR serviced at 5k. Fresh oil and new oil filter. They had fully-synthetic as well, but I am going to stick to mineral till the next service before switching over.
The brake pads are fine, good for another 5-6k kms as per the service personal.
Note (CBR Owners in Delhi): Fairing parts, cone-set, oil filter, brake pads (front and rear) and other spares are available at Globus Honda service center, Gujranwala town, GTK Road, New-Delhi. Those in search of spares can head there directly!

Have a question for Kurtrules - Where did you find Speed 93? From my knowledge there has been only 2 premium offering from BPCL for petrol. One is Speed 91 (nothing but regular 91 Octane + additives) & second one is Speed 97. Pls take a pic of Speed 93 next time for us. Tks.
I'd this question since the time you mentioned Speed 93 & here's what I used to confirm - Bharat Petroleum | Your Corner | Petro PricesSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Err...100cc is just exaggeration I guess; there's a point to mention, but, I hope you would've noticed & is not the case.Originally posted by sumantg View PostI have done first service at Dream Honda (Bangalore), I think they have used 10w30 grade oil. BTW, is there any problem with engine, because pickup also dropped. Feeling like riding 100cc bike.
Initially, if you'd graduated from any 180/150cc segment to C250R, you'll be amazed & thrilled due to its performance. But as days progress, you might be used to the speed & performance. So things could appear a little normal; to me these days speeds upto 85 Kmph is nothing, atleast, that's what I feel; and the vehicle is as stable as rock to control on those speeds & beyond. But if you notice other two-wheelers on road & if you see them disappearing in your 6K RPM, then, things are perfectly fine with your bike.
Just ensure you can do 75 Kmph on 5K, 96 Kmph on 6K RPMs at 6th gear & you're all fine.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

I did not ask about the RVMs but I am sure that they too would be stocked. You can call and confirm the service center. I do know that the RVMs cost rs 400 a piece.Originally posted by Mail2vasant View PostGreat information brother. Any clue about RVM??
Aargee, I too have not filled in Speed 93. I have used normal fuel till now. I read about speed 93 in the link I posted earlier and the 4-5 outlets in delhi which stock this fuel. Next time I go for a re-fill, I will go upto these bunks and confirm whether they actually store it or not. Here's a clipping from that same site which enlist the bunks storing Speed 93:Originally posted by aargee View PostHave a question for Kurtrules - Where did you find Speed 93? However, whether they still sell 93 RON, that remains to be seen." I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not" - Kurt Cobain

SO why people go for exhaust for good engine sound ,,,HID's for better lightOriginally posted by aargee View PostI wonder if that's what you've learned from xBhp
And, if everyone keeps doing something wrong, it doesn't mean we should follow it despite knowing its incorrect right?
And Lol, if you want to look good, dress up & clean your rides good
,,SO i need different HOrns for better sound
