Great! So you are not screwing it. Ride safe!Originally posted by Deepeshdanieljoy View PostI was planning on using the normal Honda grade oil. But the service engineer and some of my friends told me to go with FS since i'm planning for long trips. And about hitting 141; I was very strict about running in. The speed was achieved only after 1100kms. Never before that i took my bike above 5k rpm.

Heartening to many members migrating from the"What Bike" to the ownership threads. @Deepesh, Raul and Srini: Congrats to all you guys and welcome to the group! Do plan to catch up sometime once your bikes are delivered.
Deepesh: FS is now the company recommended standard. I had my 1st service at 850kms and the ASC guys switched to FS without having to tell them. Now at 1900kms and going good!Originally posted by Deepeshdanieljoy View PostI was planning on using the normal Honda grade oil. Raul: The official price (With Bill) for LS2 FF350 model is Rs.2690/. You can get the matte finish for a best price of 2500 bucks flat and non-matte can be a few bucks cheaper. I knew exactly what I wanted, and there's nothing similar in the market for the price. Thanks for the welcome
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Can someone create a poll for this thread to see how many people are using Mineral/SS/FS oil now? I can't find the create a poll option. Also how many kms would FS last on average and does anyone find sticking to mineral better than FS on the CBR? I noticed mine and Avenger88's CBR sounds rough even when revved in neutral but the showroom test mule and some other customer's rides sound super smooth with little to no vibrations so im guessing its the oil that makes the difference.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Before my first service mine was also giving some rough sound, but after the service and engine oil change, its giving a solid firing sound. It probably has to do with the oil.Originally posted by Nithesh View PostCan someone create a poll for this thread to see how many people are using Mineral/SS/FS oil now? Pardon my ignorance but aren't lc engines using only ss or fs as stock and standard ?Originally posted by Nithesh View PostCan someone create a poll for this thread to see how many people are using Mineral/SS/FS oil now? Guys what is your take on replacing the stock silencer with a Two brothers silencer. How will affect the overall performance and fuel efficiency? I have seen one in my office and the guy said it cost him around 30k.
The one i have seen is this one.
Two Brothers Racing :: Honda CBR250R Full Exhaust Systems

Hi there Sid85 the rear brake pads of Pulsar 220F R direct fitment for CBR std`s rear, they R for 200/- only.Originally posted by Sid85 View PostMe too planning to change my brake fluids to DOT4...couple of questions.
1. Which P220 brake pads you using? carbed version or FI version?
2. Let me know the cost of steel braided lines...for both front and rear brakes.
I also changed to dot4 long time back, the bite is very sharp initially but after some time it looses it`s edge.
Steel braided lines I am also looking for pls share the info if anybody has got them installed on the std varient.
Thanks
