I have made a fender extender using a unicorn's fender. Had to do a lot of cuttings markings etc so I should say it still needs some grinding work at the corners. My concern is wont the added weight from the crack my cbr's front fender ?

Looks like good stuff.. as a other option you can use a normal rubber flap and just stick it from inside using fevi quick. .

Yes i thought of that too. But two reasons prevented me from using rubber flap one is aesthetics and second is that rubber becomes hard over time and cuts off. I am looking for a permanent solution. Will just spray paint it with Matt black and get it revited permanently.

Looks like this is going to be a long one, just a reminder do not purchase from silicon honda bangalore, it was my bad and I am paying for it, as discussed earlier in the thread, my unit had a lot of gaps which members told me to get used to. Today after covering 700 kms I notice these.
Front wheel wobbling at 70+ checked pressure, other troubleshooting factors shall check later. currently I found that my clip ons are misaligned.

In addition there is a problem with my engine oil, the inspection window is the small round glass, the bike was upright and I took a photo with my phone.

As you can see there is no engine oil, I do not know how such even occured, so now I am faced with two choices, go to a svc and get the filter asap or wait for the first proper service?
and any cbr users in Bangalore, please reply to this post and recommend me a ASC, zeeshan is gone for a training, and the show room Khan is in, I really dont think whether the bike would go that far. How is Silicon honda in rv road?
I am at my wits end now.

Manan.
YOU are supposed to keep the bike straight on main stand. The CBR comes only with side stand.
So hold the bike straight and check the window.

I was sitting on the bike hence it was upright.

Yes of course. I check in that way for my Yamaha. But if u read user manual of CBR there they have quoted that we need to warm up the engine for few minutes and then check the engine oil. Might be CBR works in this way :P

The CBR manual recommends the engine to be warmed for a couple of minutes and then the level to be checked.

Yet, in my experience, the best way to check the REAL oil level is to do the check after a good, long ride when the engine has been warmed to its regular operating temp.I have used this method for every single vehicle I have owned, two and four wheelers. And have never, ever had any low oil issues.

My reasoning is that the quantity of lube oil is best guaged when the engine has run for some time, not a few minutes of "warm-up". That way, all the oil channels are filled to the proper oil pressure and there is min oil in the sump. Now when the engine cools down, this circulating oil returns to the sump. If the level check is done on a cold engine, the result will be a reading of oil levels that would be erroneous. Similarly, if the engine is only warmed up for a few minutes, the oil pressure in the channels would not be at its optimal level and again, the level would be misinterpreted.

The reasoning of the CBR might be that it makes do with a really low sump level when the engine is at operating temp, thereby rducing weight etc. Some true-blue auto engr is needed to shed further light on this, esp as the bike does not have an oil pressure guage.
