I'm still a student so I can't fully appreciate the sort of hard work and money that has gone into buying this bike for each one of you but I do understand the sentiments and the attachment you have to your bikes specially aargee after what's happened to your bike.. Pains me to even think about something like that happening to my bike..

What i'm trying to say here is this: It was a mistake on Honda's part. A probabilistic anomaly. From what is evident, it was a factory error and you have to keep in mind that these things have a very low probability of occurring. Sure Honda seems to have compromised quality for the CBR in India but one can't start sabotaging their sales.

Again, don't get me wrong, I too would be furious and would feel like ripping Shinji Aoyama's head off but I wouldn't. Aargee will of course be refunded or even better, provided with a new bike and things will be normal again and this probabilistic anomaly will be forgotten..

          Understand your point my friend.
I have a CBR which is 1800 kms old now and is running perfectly without any issues. So I agree that this is not happening everywhere and to every CBR out there.
But still, any issue like this should be taken seriously and notified. Especially when its Honda, who stress a lot on Quality.

Yep.. For me 'Honda' is synonymous with quality..

Nothing emotional in my post. I was suggesting a legal recourse in case Honda did not budge. And its a free press. If honda would care less, let the world know. thats all.

Dude, wounds might heal, the scar still remains!!! It cannot be forgotten so easily. A repaired new bike is quite different from a bike that's right out of the factory. Trust me, I know the difference much better.

I understand. I'm not standing up for Honda here. Just suggesting that you think twice before taking it to court. If it can be resolved by CC then that'd be good enough for me. But that's just me.

Go punch stars into their heads if they don't respond!

But wait, I haven't come to that conclusion yet. Trust me, the bike is certainly good. I've got it today after 8 days at ASC, let me see how it performs for next 1K kms & then we can proceed with next steps.
So, you got the bike back. As you are entitled to know what happened to your bike and what repairs they have done to your bike, I hope you got all the details. I also hope you will not mind sharing them on this forum.

How does one do? Can't physically ride to Gurgaon to meet them isn't it?

Everytime you see the bike, you know that its engine is not the same one that has been shipped from the factory. You know that its heart has been transplanted. Every single time you take the bike out, you get an eerie feeling if it would leave me stranded on the road. You simply lost the faith; a lost faith is lost for a long & takes lot of time to reestablish the trust.

File a complaint against Honda and claim for a new bike .

Certainly Ravi, I would share them. Like I said before, I don't post when things are in half baked or work in progress stage. Let me move on to next stage & then I shall certainly post here.

Trust me, I lost my sleep & peace of mind for over a week since the day my C250R was left at the Honda ASC.

One thing for sure, HMSI & the dealers did a good job & they didn't let me down. But for sure, their knowledge needs to improve a lot. What we learn through forums are far superior than what they learn through training. If HMSI recruits one C250R fan from this forum, trust me that dealership will be rocking in the country. So for that matter I'd to keep calling them over & over again, multiple times, several follow ups both with dealer as well as HMSI personnel.

                              Tks @Aneesh

But for sure, THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT ACCEPTABLE FROM HONDA!!!

I understand your pain very much RG, for once I was in the same shoes; my Stunner FI was dismantled to the last piece and was left in the service station for 25 days. Later I sold it.

I only hope that your bike has been in good care of an expert from Honda, and not the trained local service mechanics. I am sure there is every possibility that the engine would be built to factory standards. I have seen many that are running very much fine.

I too reiterate, "THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FROM HONDA"
