Mine makes such sound from day 1

Interesting, but is it normal and common to all? The sound is annoying.
Don't count the BHP, its the X that matters.

Firstly, as I said before, the travel of the rear brake lever is too much before it starts to engage i.e. I have to press the lever much more than before to even start the rear braking. Also, even on a dry road the braking capacity of the rear has decreased a lot, so whenever I am apply the brakes…since the braking capacity is not at par like before.. I tend to apply them more… and then starts the locking type behavior…
        Any inputs people??
Brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs water/moisture). Get it checked at the SVC.
If they can't find the problem then get the brake fluid replaced and bleed the brakes.

FYI, the rear brake is not used for stopping except at very slow speeds. Although, it can be used (lightly) to keep the bike stable during braking and do some other things (advanced stuff).
It's actually a good idea to 'reduce' the stopping power of the rear brake so that its doesn't lock up easily (or at all).

Problem is, ASC people will never agree that some sound is coming. And if somehow you let them believe, they will say its not considerable. It feels better not to break our own head.

Guys today road a bit hard with pillion shifts around 8k. And after that engine and gear shifts become hard. Is this due to oil becoming less viscous due to heat?? Will it become normal after cooling down? Or some thing to worry

How much kms are on odo rightnow. This bike is meant to ride hard and 8k shifts are no big deal.

Don't worry shifting with different load and in a new rev range sometimes makes you feel it rough but nothing happens as such. Ride hard and have fun.

MOrning i saw the bike was wet due to raining.
This sunday i washed/polished the bike and lubed the chain.
                      Everything got wasted.
1)Any other coating to be done to save the baby from rain?
2)Chain lube last for how many Km's in rain?
3)What all parts are to be covered from rain? (engine Switch/ Speedometer /fuel tank)
                      Thanks in advance.

                        1) I don't think rain is much of a problem for your baby. Keep her clean during rainy season. Dont allow much mud and dirt be on it for a long time.
                        2) It is recommended to clean and lube the chain after every rainy ride.
3)No, nothing. As soon as you reach home, you can wipe the water in and around the speed o, the fuel cap etc. just to make sure the water doesn't go into the tank and all(Not necessary though).
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Not everyday, after every heavy rainy ride. No one does that I guess

nothing to worry about. rode with pillion for few 100 kms with little occasional hard riding. faced nothing. but with too hot or cold engine you wont feel things are proper. cold when you start riding without warmup. and too hot when you stress the engine too much.

one thing i wanna point out is: yes r15 is one of those bikes which asks for revvs. but you need to know that even race bikes (which are ridden the crap out of them) last for one race or very few races. so we cant actually do that to the r15. hard riding for sometimes if fine, but do not take that for granted.

i really dont think its necessary to lube everyday/after every rain ride. do it if its needed. will you take medication even if you are completly fine? some times overdose of medication leads to bad things. similar thing here. I rode in 2 rainy days. check the chain next morning to find any rust, and i didnt find any.

now what i think might have happened: (completly my theory, if found stupid please laugh and continue )
when you ride after a few kms and be back, the chain is hot as well as the engine. so when you put a drop of water on it its most likely to get evaporated. (tested ). now similar thing would have happened during the rainy ride. its not like you would take the bike in swimmingpool (unless you ride in bangalore that is ) . so lube when its needed.

and another thing i have noticed is: last saturday and sunday i didnt touch my bike. on monday morning when i was about to ride to office, i noticed few small brown dots on the chain and discs. reason? the caretaker in the apartment had washed the car that was beside my bike by spraying water on the car and few drops spilled on the bike causing rust. PISD off with him. now do i need to explain how rusting is caused sorry for long write up, i like to type
