Thanks for the figures. So its around 30 when ripped, around 35 normally and 40 conservative. Duke 200 seems better than competition at the same price range even on mileage
Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

Remember it also depends on the rider and riding style. But, yeah, you will be able to manage 30-40 under most circumstances.Originally posted by MHG View PostThanks for the figures. Almost better than my FZ-S

Filling upto the brim will not make it over flow or give out smell. When fuel goes over the brim into the black area, it is siphoned out through the overflow pipe.Originally posted by Doga View PostHey I have filled upto the brim many times and could never smell petrol or see an overspill. May be this problem is not there in all the bikes?
The other day when i went to get the bike fueled, the idiotic pump attendant poured petrol on the black area and it started coming out from the over flow hose, so if fuel is filled above the brim, and if it goes into the black area, it will come out through the overflow pipe.
With Monsoons around the corner, a little DIY SEAT COVER so that water does not enter below the seats.

Possible Oil Leak!!
Hey fellow bikers,
Yesterday I saw oil under the left side of swingarm. Also some traces of oil on the back part of the engine..
What do you think is the problem here?? Is anyone else facing the same issue?

Cud u post pics so that we can help. I had oil leak after a long trip near the clutch cover which was rectified by tightening the cover bolts.Originally posted by devil_rider View PostHey fellow bikers,

About the seat cover, it's a good idea to use the old raincoats.. Very neat work

1 more problem that I am facing..
People from my office keeping their filthy asses on my bike when it is on the side stand.

How much weight can the side stand sustain? I am worried that it might just break because of this.. What do you fellas think?

I know that Nail / sex with their GF solution that Mountain suggested.Originally posted by Doga View Postsome 10-15 pages back, Mountain had posted 2 possible and very potent solutions for this problem after I reported the same issue. YOu'll surely like them
But I want a more practical solution. I was thinking about an alarm but then the original KTM alarm is heftily (literally) priced and I don't want local mechanics messing with the electrical of the motorcycle..Last edited by devil_rider; 06-11-2012, 02:04 PM.The best alarm clock is sunshine on chrome.

Even I'd like to know this. My bike has started leaning at much more nowadays and its very unstable if the ground is not flat. I am waiting to see the Pulsar 200NS centre stand and if its possible retrofit it on the Duke.Originally posted by devil_rider View Post1 more problem that I am facing..

You mean the seat spikes?Originally posted by Doga View Postsome 10-15 pages back, Mountain had posted 2 possible and very potent solutions for this problem after I reported the same issue. YOu'll surely like them
I wish it was possible. But these monkeys will find new ways to fiddle around. God forbid they start standing on the bike.

Go for xena. It'd be cheaper than the KTM one.Originally posted by devil_rider View PostI know that Nail / sex with their GF solution that Mountain suggested.
