Hey Guys, got my black beauty today. Had booked a week back but waited for permanent no. Turns out the RTO guys were not available three days last week (mourning BT??) so took it under TC No. I could at least feast my eyes on it
Absolutely blown away by the engine. Keeping it under 5K rpm (service guy told me below 50KMPH?) which one is it. Went to change to Pirelli at Premji Tyre World but he says no PSD's available in the market even if you pay advance!! Minor niggles such as seat vibes and footpegs also vibing a bit but except for this and quality of some switches, its an amazing machine!! I'll post a comparison with my FZ after the first service for sure!

Hey guys,
I own the wolf since a couple of months. I've been following the speed limit set by the company in the manual (1st gear-8,2nd-15,3rd-24 etc). And now i'm in the next speed limit of the next 1000 km i.e. 1000-2000kms (1st-16,2nd-24,3rd-30,4th-38,5th-45,6th-54).. My friends are constantly complaining saying i'm screwing up the bike by riding so slow.
I really want to know if they're right and am i doing something wrong?? Should i be taking the rpm to 4.5-5? I've done 1,500kms.
Plz enlighten me..

Strange that you do not know about running in speed limits even though u have owned a FZ in the pastOriginally posted by vinais View PostHey Guys, got my black beauty today. anyways if u refer the manual it has given speed limits for every gear and the speed limit when to shift down
if u follow the manual it works out to be 3.5Krpm in each gear
its too less according to me and i maintain t at about 4-4.5K rpm
also recently have read about seat vibes from many....may be loose bolts? i dont think footpeg vibes can be diminished...but if anyone has a method to do it please share
if you are strcitly riding normally within city and not too much runs on bad roads i guess the stock tyres are more than enough..however if u are still fixed on changing tyres MRF isnt a bad option too..that is if u can deviate from PSD
also keep in mind stock tyres are hard compound and PSD is soft compound and will wear out faster and is more prone to puncture...
you decide...
ALL the best ride safe..this is a fantastic piece of machine..maintain it regularly and well and u'll always be happyPulsar 200NS parts list

i tried following the company set limits but the bike knocks and there is insufficient pull...i still havent crossed 1k kms but i am following speed limits given after the 1k km...the 4-4.5K rpm limit is sufficient.Originally posted by niteinvegas View PostHey guys,

U know, there are many out there who think they know just about anything if they own a bike.Originally posted by niteinvegas View PostHey guys,

If ur following the manual, then ur not doing anything wrong, rest assured. At 1.5k odo read, U can now stretch out for longer revs & try to hit the red lines at times if not often, try to test ur ride's capabilities, try touring, etc.. It'll be just fine, plus, u might get to know of any wrongs if any in ur ride & can get it fixed asap. Adapt to a style U like & want to, not what others suggest. If u have or can gather more knowledge about everything u need to know for ur bike, that'd just add to ur vantage. Here we all share about everything, so U can hope to get the most outta here.
BTW, how's the ride in ur opinion ? DO leave ur reviews, it'll be appreciated m sure..

Congrats & Ride safe. You can also use front tyre of Fz & rear tyre of R15 V2.0 as they are of same size. Also, these soft compound MRF Tyres will provide awesome gripOriginally posted by vinais View PostWent to change to Pirelli at Premji Tyre World but he says no PSD's available in the market even if you pay advance!!

hello guys. this is my first post in this thread. i have clocked 1400+ on ODO in my P200 yellow beast. there are no any major problems to be frank. but little bit sloopy during the gear shifts especially during downshifts.. the gear just locks itself and its really difficult to drive in heavy traffics to downshift from say 5th to 3rd or 2nd soon. apart from that no big issues. also had a long trip of 300+ kms to a hill station to and fro. was having a best driving experience around the corners and curves. overall verdict- I looooovvveeeee this beast.MY Bikes : TVS Victor GL (Year 2002), BAJAJ Pulsar 200NS

For quite some time, engine oil was leaking out from the bike. Checked and found 5 bolts had got loosened. Gave them the rubber bush treatment.
And 3k comes up on the new Odo. So its 15,722kms +3,051kms!

Lol... Everyone understands that Bajaj derives the designs on it's bikes from others, just another example to it. :POriginally posted by chintan99 View Post
