It kinda is my friend. IMO the feel of the switches the day I took the delivery of my bike just didn't feel right. In 10 days I had and issue with my indicator switch which would refuse to turn off in one click. The SVC was like you have to press hard as it's a new bike. Anyways I paid to get it replaced and no issues since then till now. Not complaining though. Just looking for solutions. Who else would give you a 200CC for 1lac...

Don't get me wrong... After from these small little things here and there it's an awesome bike. My friend's Fazer stalls in the rains. Mine doesn't. I even did the stop and start in knee height water and I seriously was impressed

Anyone feel that the clutch lever is extremely hard to pull when handle is turned towards left?? From the past couple of days, I find it so hard that my forearms start to pain.

      Problem resolved.

How did you resolve it mate? I'm guessing the clutch wire was getting pressed near the steering column?

Installed belly pan under the bike. Helps reduce all that dirt sticking to the engine belly and the silencer in the rainy season. Only draw back is that I need to be extra carefull with those poorly designed buldging speedbreakers.

Is it a standard accessory for the AS?

Nope its not. Its actually ktm duke200 belly pan. Its not a direct fit although both bikes have holes in exact same place but the silencer on AS goes below so it hinders the fitting. Ktm guy had to do a lot of jugad to install it.

                  That's exactly what was happening.

It's been 3425km on bajaj oil. After 8-9kms of city ride observed some foam formation in oil. No leakage and not any kind of coolant drop. Both oil and coolant levels are same as they were on first service, done on 750km. Total odo reading 4175km. In second service only cleaning, washing and lubing chain and joints is done. Going for third service next week. Is that foam normal for bajaj oil since it took so long to change it?? Otherwise bike is in awesome condition.

Foam or air bubble formation is normal for all oils, especially after a long spirited run. It happens on my bike with whatever oil I use. The "foam" could not be compared to that of what a detergent+water will produce. If left as it is, the air bubble breaks and film of oil gets intact again. Usually oils have additive that will prevent excessive foam. This air bubble formation is mainly due to the agitation inside the engine.

I am running on motul 7100 for past 1500 kms and it foams up as well but settles down in minutes after shutting off the engine. I suppose it is normal.

                            Hello xbhpians,

I have completed 2400kms and I have some questions.

I did my first service at 645kms and after that I have not done any service of my bike.
They replaced the engine oil with Bajaj oil in the first service.

The second service is scheduled at 4500km or 240days so I am waiting for completion of 240days or 4500km.

Sometimes when I turn off my bike a loud sound comes from the engine. A 'Tak" sort of sound.
It happens every time I turn off.
                            Is this normal?

What is the top speed of pulsar as200??
Till date I have managed to reach the speed of 134km/h speedometer indicated.
I am getting an avergae of around 35km/L mostly with pillion rider
I mostly ride in the city.

I don't feel the rear disk brakes that much. It is not that punchy as like the front disk.

Quite often in my first ride of the day , bike turns of automatically while riding, when i release the throttle and it reaches around 1-1.5k rpm,
                            It turns itself off automatically.

I have to keep throttle up to 2k rpm to let the bike not switch off automatically.

The first gear does not give that much pick up at lower rpms.
I feel that pickup has reduced after 2000kms completion.

                            I reached from 0-60 in around 6seconds.
                            With a pillion rider(mine =100kg ,pillion =70kg weight)

Are there any issues that I need to take care about?

                            Thanks. Take Care.

Hi Abhijeet, Even i m facing the same issue. My mechanic says it is because of rains and clutch cable needs to be changed. And usually NS and AS has hard clutch...

But after few weeks i m used to it now... Will change the clutch cable post monsoons.

Anyone tried using clutch cable other than that of NS or AS? If yes did that made a difference?

                              Thanks in advance.

                              Cheers 🍻

After paying Rs 4000 for fork replacement, for the leaning left issue that almost every pulsar has, I now have to go through this fork oil leak. Not sure where the leak starts either.

I wiped it so it looks far better that it is , any advice guys?

P.S leaning left never got fixed stupid Khivraj SVC faggots.
