Wow great suggestion , isnt that silly to go to SVC for every little problem. Then wats this forum for. We are not changing the engine mapping or any other sophisticated setting. You know our service centre they wont say a thing about what they do thats why i hate them. They think its too difficult for us to understand what they are saying.

Last time when i went to write the no, i saw an imprinted board. Only the rear is imprinted, the front number plate is too inconspicuous . For rear number plate its 250/-. We can also go for a fibre board which is 200/-. Digital numbering in fibre plate is too cool

If it is the console, your idea is good, but instead of a rubber damper, use the double side tape, thats all!
Does that black double sided tape has any specific name?

After all u have paid 68k for the bike, u can approach the SC guys for each n every small small issues of-course major issues too
Get minor things corrected in the beginning itself... And what ever suggestions or improvements u feel like, express it in a clear n friendly manner to them... It will have major impacts in the development of the motorcycle
So, don't ever hesitate to do go to SC

Thanks for your concern, Mathew. I get your point, to tell you the truth i have already gone to them twice one to complain about the engine over heating and the second due to a small sound from the rear suspension. Now i have noted that the digital console is vibrating on uneven surfaces. A senior member has already replied not to worry about it saying he too has noted that when his bike was just delivered. I checked the way in which the visor is attached, thought that inserting a damper can lessen the vibration a lot. Just wanted to know what you guys think.

                  sir

just insert a cloth ,say the cloth you would keep to make the bike clean between the digital console and the key slot assembly..

                  your vibrations are gone

thats how i keep it tot he minimum in my bike

                      • Dear Mate, I could not understand your query.

Do you think that Suzuki of for that matter any good company would print something that is not in/on the product?

Yes, SJCS, Suzuki Jet Cooling System is present in the bike.

                        dcs

I'm planning to change the oil Shell Helix 20W50. Can someone say the pros and cons, the cost... and also should i get it done by the service centre or the Shell outlet guy ?

I have seen many guys keeping a cleaning cloth in that area, but i dont like that idea, as most of the time it will be covered with dust and it will only cause scrathes if you try to clean with it. As per Sarvajit explained i will try to sandwitch a soft rubber like material in between 2 two sided black tape. The idea of keeping a cloth is ok but i think above is appealing . The console is vibrating since it only have two screws to hold it, a third one forming a triangle like structure would have prevented this .

                            • not just many guys keep...

it is the SC's super idea to keep that complain minimum from the customer

i.e. first you dont notice any vibrations when you keep the cloth there
second, once you are used to keeping there, you will continue to keep there and the vibration problem is solved and you wont complain it to the SC.
