    • Is upjetting compulsory after fitting K&N filter.. I am not concerned about top speed.. i only care about increase in low end..

If K&N makes the F-A mixture lean, will tuning the fuel screw of carb towards richer side will solve the problem? or changing of jets is really compulsory for K&N?

      please experts help..

Am not expert on K & N upjetting just ping our Mach bhai,

If i need good pickup at low speed I used to switch to Power mode and that works out for me

my carb is at 3.25 (3 * 360 rotations + quarter turning) from the fully closed position am happy with that

frequently screwing the carb will screw up your bikes performance

Nowadays i love to ride on low speed cruzing "on 3rd gear 15 to 24 kmph 4th Gear @ 25 to 28 kmph and on 5th Gear 28 to 38 kmph and on 6th cog with below 55 kmph"

on the above speed to gear ratio the bike sound is awesome , sometimes i feel like driving a electric vehicle and if i listen to silencer note its simply mimicking the bullet

"Our bike is a performer on road not just on papers (so weren't writing much"

"may be most of the GS owners are sleeping happy and one or two bad luck guys are breaking head on screwing up their machine so as the forum is not active"

                1 k&N air filter- 1400bucks
2 Upjetting(some pulsar thing yu mentioned)-Mainjet RTR180 and Needlejet P180,around 200bucks for the total carb kit per bike, would consider you lucky,if you only get them single piece
3 Free flow aftermarket Exhaust(must be good with the cops too)-No idea, maybe 4000 bucks for really good ones.

If you get it all right then you would be having a bike capable of 16 horses easy.

For rear tyre you have same spec MRF tubeless i have that right from the day i bought the bike

i dint find any tubeless of stock size for front tyre. it will not avoid warranty. may be just electrical warranty.

                      • DYI LED Pilot LAMP FIXING

Replaced the pilot lamps with led.

                        # No I didnt took the bike to SUZUKI dealer.

                        # No didnt took the bike to local mechanic.

                        # No I didnt opened the doom or visor.

Its easy and can be done by us.

In our gs we have enough place to insert our hands to pull of the pilot lamp plug in cable.

I just done that and hold the default bulb glass part and pulled it out

Yes, your guess is right I fixed the led one put the things back to position and used a screw drive to push and ensure the pilot lamp is placed well.

Sorry guys both my hands are busy so no photo.

The pilot lamp is more bright on idle and when at speed its less bright comparing to idle
                        Thanks to the RR unit.

Any time this led is brighter than default bulb.

                            • Hi everyone,

I am yet another proud owner of the machine. I bought it on 11th sep.
Was little confused between dazzler and gs150r but ultimately chose suzuki above dazzler as dazzler didnt gave me that pleasure of riding.
Suzuki had that executive looks which separates it from all. Pickup is fast and no vibrations at all at 50-55 kmph.
I just seem to have problem with its headlight mask. The mask seem to vibrate a lot whenever a pit hole or some deep crack of road comes. I showed my bike to the dealer, he said suzuki uses rubber holdings bolts to prevent the mask from cracking hence it will vibrate.
I wanna ask you guys whether your bike's mask also vibrate as well????

                              • The vibrating speedometer is normal. Just imagine those vibrations on handle, and thank god that they are limited to the speedometer alone!
