No I didn't think it,I felt it while pushing the Dazzler........it got caught in every crosswinds and side-winds.The Unicorn in comparison was very good when it came to this.I am fortunate enough to get a ride of every kind of Bikes,my friend circle permits it.

Yes,GSR has SJCS-Suzuki Jet Cooling System......the air-cooled mill has this enhancement.A Suzuki technology.
Dazzler mill's heating was felt just after 1.5kms @ 105kmph,and the engine note changed.

The fun factor is important too guys! I'm just 19!!!
I don't know, how people evaluates performance, but I too have ridden all types of bikes.
I judge performance by one single thing, not the vibrations, not the grunty note but Power and Torque at WOT.......if you give a WOT wring to GSR at 35kmph-40kmph speeds in 3rd or 4th gear you will know what it is.That thing can only be felt on Karizma and the Pulsar220DTSFi distinctly.

The Bike gets to a quick 120kmph(speedo indicated) as you shift up to 5th gear, without any hue and cry.

I said the above to give you some facts; i am not trying to convince you to buy Dazzler. I see you are quite inclined towards GS150R. Do not think too much, just go ahead and buy and you will not regret.
Bike India's journalist Bunny Punia (who happens to be one of the best) said that it has pronounced vibes from the knee recess of the fuel tank above 5000 rpm....
Anyhow, how comfortable is the Dazzler on long distances. I can compromise a bit here, but the same journalist adjudged it uncomfortable for long rides.
Another review says that one needs a butt break every 60 odd kilometers.

The GS is very comfortable, but not so flickable.
I'm inclined to the GS, true, but I don't think it is as punchy a ride as the Dazzler.

      • There are slight vibrations in foot pegs at 5k rpm, but they are not shattering. Moreover, the bike BI tested was very new, and hence he said pronounced. I have completed 4k on odo with my dazzler and the vibrations are very, very minor and completely negligible. If you had read the review in full, you might have noticed that Bunny said the motor is quiet at high speeds.

Regarding comfort in the long rides, Bunny always rides bikes that are a bit sporty. The riding stance of Dazzler is completely commuterish and you feel a bit odd to ride once you are habituated for the sporty position. After using Karizma and Stunner in the past, I too have felt awkward initially, but in a 2-3 days, I got used to it and it is very comfortable now. I have done at least 5 rides in the last two months (including one continuous 300 km trip) and I have not felt any discomfort.

Take a test ride of both Dazzler and GS150 at high speeds, you will get the difference, if at all, first hand. Buy the bike that you feel is fun to ride.

Today happen to meet my old friend whozzz travelling on CB Dazzler

We both are driving in the same direction at 40 kmpl without helmet.

I am able to hear his bike engine sound

He asked me how come man your bike is bigger and its almost silent.

          • Questions on pilotlamp LED and OIL Filter

Is that a good practice to change oil filter whenever we change engine oil ?

            My local mechanic recommends it.

Regarding LED pilot lamp: if the lights goes dim when you increase RPM.
It means the LED is struggling(not capable of withstanding high power) at high RPM and it will blow off sooner yes it happen on my bike.
My beast lost one of its sexy led eyes while cruzzing at 80 kmph

Do we have any trusted brand in LED's to lookout for

            • @raghavtlwr, more confusion for you now. The best option for you now is to take test ride and decide. Experience yourself the smoothness/roughness, vibrations/no vibrations, fun or not-fun to ride, maneuverability, etc.

MSN1, the Dazzler has open chain and the noise is clearly audible outside. Also, the open chain gets dirty very soon and a non-maintained chain will produce more noise. This will get mixed with engine sound at speeds. The GS150R has closed chain and it will contain the chain noise. This could be a reason for the engine noise that you felt. Or, it can be some other thing too.

Well, yeah, he does ride sporty bikes, but he's also rdden the GS and says that it is very very comfy!
Both he and his co-journalist felt the Dazzler not so comfortable.

I'm sure it depends from rider to rider, every body type is different. Bunny is heavy, but I am quite slim.
Good to know that you find it comfortable.

Dude, RIDE SAFE. Wear that helmet.
Anyway, thanks for the input. I do think the the Dazzler and GS sound about the same, so I'm not making my choice on that factor now.

                I hate you guys!

I don't know how to ride a bike yet, that is why I am relying so much on owners' experience.
In the showroom, I had their employees ride while I rode pillion.
The Dazzler felt a tad more sporty!

Yes madhu the oil filter and o ring is not a big money, its going to do good for the bike only if we change it, but company manual tells change every 8000km,Its our choice to change filter for every oil change(an extra 100m oil needed for that)....
Luckily i got one good quality LED for pilot lamps when i have pulsar used it almost 2 years on that again i removed and fitted on GS 150, one of them (LED)gone after 6months as our GS electrical is different compared to my 2003 pulsar..
Now what i using is twin led type, each bulb have 2 led,So 4 led will glow on 2 pilot lamps....It consume more power (but below our OEM pilot lamp)....I don't know how long it will last...as i update later about it....
The better idea is to connect the same LED in DC,SO u get constant current ur LED won't go fuse...
I did'nt do it bcos i have to find good Bike electrician for that....
After B&P change my bike is silent lets see after 1000km

Hey, The LED blew off already ???
Its surprising since you changed it just few weeks back.
Guess the reverse voltage exceeded the breakdown voltage since the rpm and voltage across led terminals was high..
Or may be the temperature exceeded limits too..

Regarding trusted brands, i dont think it would make any difference since the led functioning would be more or less same.
Only solution is converting to dc, we could connect the 2 pilot lamps to the back number plate light terminals and put leds at all 3 sockets, that way its voltage will be steady(from battery) and it will be on even when our bike is off at the signals.
I think someone connected the pilot lamps this way already and posted about it sometime back.

You went for a test ride and sat pillion on the bike ?
Anyway, i'm a college student with GS, and its pretty nice for riding zig zag and accelerating suddenly when there's an empty stretch of road ahead..

And i guess GS would make more heads turn compared to dazzler, since its bigger.

Hey bro,I didnt get much chance to drive in 6th since the city was full of traffic...I hardly shifted two times to 6th gear..But cudnt find any vib...Anyways will check whether it is there or not...Enjoy safe ride...

And GS150R still edges over CB Unicorn. The CB Dazzler loses miserably in departments of smoothness and gear shifting qualities in comparison to the CB Unicorn.

GS150R is the heaviest and the most torquey among the air-cooled 150ccs,barring the FZ and R15.While FZ is costly for being a 150cc and R15 is in a different segment with a price tag as such.

                            So what is GS150R,
Big Bike feel,Long range tourer, fast and reliable, fuel efficient being a 150cc........looks sophisticated and it is great at stability at high speeds and a safe bike.

Go for Dazzler if you like traffic like GPs and city riding only.
(But still I am the one who wins at Traffic light GPs on my GSR )
