How are you?
Dude, how are you?Good to see you after a long timeOriginally posted by Anupdas View Post@ HIDALKO
I have experienced the same problem with GS's brake lever. But i dont think its a serious issue, we just have to avoid stepping on lever while negotiating the hump. The real culprit is the positioning of exhaust pipe which made the lever like the way it is
.

.....how is your gs

?hope it is more refined now than earlier....

Its really simple. The tool has a C shaped curve with a projection inside which coincides with the recesses on the top side of the shock absorber. Just place it properly and turn it to either side. Adjust both sides to the same setting.Originally posted by thefalcon View PostI weigh around 55kgs, so i thought of making the setting to 2 if it'll be better on the potholes.
I had told the SC people to change it when i gave for servicing, those people didnt do a thing and gave the bike with 3 setting itself.!!
Ok, i'll try the saree guard thing now,
how do you adjust the suspension with the Y shaped thing ? i have to try doing it myself since SC people didnt do it during last service even though i told them to.
Tell me the procedure in detail so i dont end up messing anything in the bike.

That was a nasty situation.. Thank God you are all right..Originally posted by MSN1 View PostWas travelling comfortably with family
My 2 yrs old kid is on front and wife on back seat
The speed was 45 kms their was a honda city going in front of us
That honda city F***er applied breaks in middle of the road. That was unexpected I applied break despite of it we got crashed on back of the car despite of 75 kg weight in back seat my GS back part came up in the aid while we got crashed with the car.
the distance between is not more than 8 feet.
Thank god my kid and wife are left unharmed and I got hit. On left knee got swelling no blood injuries
I felt GS left unharmed but just noticed that my GS clutch leaver curled. Even that looks stylish.
Now I feel if it is any other bike the outcome of the accident may be bad. Because of the GS weight it came to control quickly while during sudden stop.
Apart from god I need to thank the GS default dumb back break, if it is a disk then the thing will be more bad.Suzuki GS150R (2009)

i thought i was the only one with 5'5 height who bought this bike...whenever i get on the bike, i jump and sit..Originally posted by santhoshs View PostI own a GS150.
Is it possible to reduce the height.
I am 5.5, i would be more comfortable if height of the bike is lower by 1-2".
By changing wheels to lower dia, say 17", will reduce the height, or by changing the shocks. Pls confirm.
If it is possible to reduce the height by changing the wheels, i am ready to sell my GS wheels if somebody here is in need of alloy wheels (18"),
...regarding reducing the wheel dia, i've no idea and personally i don't want to change it...

Where had you been brother ???Originally posted by Anupdas View PostBut i dont think its a serious issue, .
Pulsar riding comfort is worst in the industry. My beloved friend died riding a flagship Pulsar220 due to control issues......I don't think Pulsar135LS is better than the 220.Originally posted by MSN1 View PostPulsar 135LS is a good option
I would call it as the best choice on below 150cc range because
He is the only one you can thank for saving you and your family.Originally posted by MSN1 View PostApart from god
Come on get a four wheeler now,Ford Figo,Nissan Micra,Chevrolet Beat or even Tata Nano, pick any,but please don't ride like this with your beloved family.
The Honda City driver was an absolute hash-head,we find ass like him all over India and they refuse to admit that.If you go to say something to these guys, they would instead tell you that you don't know how to drive and all possible BullS**t.
You should have got the number of this car and lodged a complaint with the police that it has hit you.On interception, you could have humiliated the owner of the car for the ass driver he is keeping.
Sometimes I feel like beating the crap out of these drivers and kill them and do some years in jail.......it would be an eye opener for these dumbass drivers.
You were lucky that nothing happened to your two year old sitting on the fuel tank.
From now on,please avoid tail-gating cars and big vehicles, they are very unpredictable. Here in India people die for freaks,in the west they die for speeds.Either leave this country, which you cannot or ride with extreme caution.
God Bless you.
Ride Safe,Ride Long.

I am 5'4" and did ride the bike with its stock seat height for 2 months. Now I have modified the seat, lowered it by shedding and new padding by1.5inches.
Problem of height doesn't effect as soon as you are on the bike.
Real trouble shows if you are going at snail's pace on bad roads or have to put your foot down over uneven surfaces
But one thing for sure, this bike has given the confidence to ride very big bikes, which I now do with ease

Yeah that's right
Even my family members (not suggested) but forced me to get the car asap and to avoid going with family on two wheeler.
Getting a car my problem is not money but its a long way for me. Yes I have to learn car driving and need to get DL for driving car. Think it may not take more than 5 months.
I can't immidiatly avoid my kid from travelling with me on GS because
If you call me as GS addicted then you should call my 2 year old kid as GS maniac
Whenever he wants to travel on bike, he will bring my bike keys and pulls me out to take him for a drive.
Some times at night he wears my helmet and asks me to put him on GS and the intresting part is he streached hard holds the handlebar as if he is riding it and smiles at me with full of joy.
But now am bit stubborn on reducing the trips with him and already stopped taking him for long distance (more than 3 kms and main road trips)
At last am happy that my GS made almost close to 1 feet length and almost 3 cms depth dent on the Fu***s honda car.
If it is someone else I would even slap him, but I didn't even shout at him
Because he looks elder than my dad seems to be almost 70+ aged.
What to do In our country 85+ aged are still ruling
Just two hours back my mother-in law did holy rittual for my family and burnt it am happy with it because she did it for my GS before buring the ritual materials (which includes red chillie, campour and etc....)
In most of the bikes the break and clutch lever breaks in to pieses if it got hit but in GS it bents ?Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

As others mentioned i think its time for you to get a car...think over it bro!!!
Few days ago i had a similar incident infront of your house
, but i was alone and did not fall off the bike...My bike's handle bar weights got rubbed to a luggage auto rickshaw...And my situation was opposite to urs.. the driver was 15-16 year old boy..
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
