      Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me which oil is best suited for GS150R when we literally "Drive it crazy"?

There is a small mistake with the poles you have started and finished. But I think it is not a serious problem.
Punarvasu, I've used 18swg wire., And I'd marked the position of the stock coil before rewinding and started rewinding it from there in the same direction it was winded earlier...

That grounding leg just touches the stator plate through tha socket provided for it.,The stator plate is only grounded through the body... That leg can be easily pulled out using a plier ..And for surpise there is another socket left just next to this one., by pushing it using a plier it can be easily fixed to there.. This socket is covered by insulator (plastic) so it will not be grounded... Hence we can tap a wire easily from there like the one already runs to the stock RR...

You rewinded the coil alternatively by clockwise and anticlockwise direction....right?

                      Gagan,
I am using Castrol Power 1 SS 15w40 after the first servicing of my bike and I am fully satisfied with it. Others have their own opinions and please wait for it.

If you are sure that neither end of the coil is grounded, let us see the result after fitting it. Check everything again before fitting.

                        • Punarvasu,
Just now cChecked the new position of the leg with DMM. And it's not showing continuity with the stator plate...
So it should work without any problem...
Only thing concerned about now is the moving objects in the magento part,, Just I've to make sure that wires does't touches anywhere....

                            • My latest mileage report:

                              ~ 245 km for 6.8 ltr of fuel = ~ 35 kmpl

Riding has been mostly harsh to ultra ripping and redlining in every gear. For all this abuse, 35 kmpl is not bad I must say.

I wish I got 60kmpl for this kind of riding.

That's why I feel we should use a higher cc bike for ripping......same mileage....but woth more power....
