so, 60-80 kmph seems to be the cruising speed for GS150R with better tradeoff between mileage and speed...
    great to know
Now arranging all the snaps & write-ups to put it as a thread so that it'll be helpful for everyone of us..

me for one ... for it is certain that I'll be indulging in few long hauls. And would prefer night over midday cruising provided reliable headlight...

located 60 kms from nearest SVC, I would like to have hands on exp in Bike maintenance.

I would've collected one by one if I were in B'lore now. Will collect all the necessary on my next visit. However, will stay for week or so in B'lore.

A definitive guide for spare parts, tools etc will be handy...

            thanks, checking your link

Still awaiting your consolidated thread on Full DC Conversion...

Take a look at below DIY thread on xBHP:

                - buy O-Ring as well when you buy Oil-Filter from SVC.
                - instead of 900ml Engine-Oil buy 1L(Standard).
                - while draining oil, in the end once Oil stops dripping, you can kick(not too hard!) the kick-starter lever to get rid of some oil sticking to engine parts.

take care of hands from hot engine-oil.

                • I don't like the new pagination scheme on xBHP /-
only seven messages per page; what's this?

                  more adds per page ratio?............

Why? I havent changed my o-ring once ad Ive changed my oil filter about 4 times till now. No oil leakage yet, if thats what the o-ring is meant for.

                        • 9th service completed

                          Updates from my GS:
Done 9th service(Free) from Saboo Suzuki. The total bill is 331. Bike odo @ 12506 km .
                          Engine Oil (Castrol) - 230
                          Sparkplug (P-RZ9HC) - 73
                          Consumable Oils - 25
Cushion Frame cover upper - 3

Mileage in city is consistently between 53-59. Spark plug changed because i thought it would be better to change it eventhough i dont have issues with old NGK spark plug.

IS any issues if we use tank bag on GS like scratches due to bag leather or any? . I have not used until now but planning to put one.

I've changed Oil-Filter once, kept the old O-Ring. I don't see any leakage either..
I'm not sure SVC replaces O-Ring every time they replace Oil-Filter. Does anyone know the price of an Oil-Filter's O-Ring @SVC?

Quoting from Owner's Manual: Page 6-23

NOTE: Use new "O" rings each time the engine oil filter element is replaced.
