You can even touch 80 kmph(Max 7500 RPM) now provided:

    - you've new engine oil, done only couple of hundred kms on new oil and oil looks good across oil-strainer screen.
    - warm up the engine before the cruise, just slow riding for first five kms will do.
    - instead of cruising @constant speed you vary the speed all along the long haul. Only until you travel another 5/6 hundreds kms.

    take precautions..
    - lube chain
    - tyre pressure (highway cruises require higher tyre pressures, 25psi front and 33 psi for rear are more than enough I suppose)

If you're traveling alone, take extra precautions...

    Happy cruising..
+ 1 to follow all this please do concentrate on the road rather than keep looking in to the speedo console or RPM meter, i know you are good but their are many idiots on road who are determined to make changes in our life

Always wear quality helmet and other required accessories.

take break when ever needed, do take snickers and water to stay fit for the long way.

Good to know about it.Your tappets are set to the recommended specs. The brakes were not bleeded properly at your SVC hence there was air in your braking system.Plus the Dot4 oil improves efficiency.
BTW people know me by name Drifty here and not Sahil..hehe :-P

                    • service manual says, less than 7500 rpm between 800 to 1600 kms on ODO.
look at the Tacho more than the Speedo, its less boring, trust me

look at the tacho to know how much we are stressing the engine
until i learn how to shift gears perfectly i used to refer the tacho,
nowadays am not at all looking in to the console except for mileage.

if you are not in run in period the mantra is don't redline
for mileage shift gears at right rpm and follow economy mode.

                        • Sorry guys, been stuck with my work for the past few days.. Couldn't able to catch you all..

My bike touched the 5000kms mark today.,
                          And, 1st time I touched 90kmph ( just for a shorter distance)..

Engine revs freely but since last few days I noticed the engine sound while revving is little hard.. DOK DOK DOK sound is heavy at certain period of time during revving up..

My recent average 424kms for 7.2lts of fuel..(Rs.500)..ie.58kmpl approximately...

Been riding in the range of 60-80kmph most of the time..

                            • Joyride seat cover

A new seat cover in the market. It's brand named as "Joyride".
I have fitted on my GS 150R. Quite comfortable to say at least. As promised, it does give a warm feeling than the 'chatka ' we usually get on a normal black seat cover.
What attracted me to get this cover was a warranty. This cover offers 3 years warranty against color fading, loose stitching, wrinkles, surface deterioration etc.

I paid Rs. 450 for this cover in mumbai, been using it since last month...i feel it's worth the price as it has got really good quality and a warranty that no one else offers.
Images of a cover are attached.
anything that can go wrong will surely go wrong at the wrong time and the wrong place
