How about the equipment you're reading this on?

Perhaps, production and competitive pricing for a 250cc fully featured bike are the biggest challenges /-

But the magazine Bike India expects showcasing of GW250.

Don't worry..........our own GS150R was never revealed at any Auto Expo pre-launch

Better late than never !!! Wish that they take their own time in launching this product with very good spares availability and knowledgable mechanics in service centers.

By the way, i inquired for GS150R availablility here in Chennai. Its readily available and costs around 73K. I have to settle some 57k for my old debts (which i thought can postpone for couple of months, but need to give it back since my friend needed this additional money for his new house downpayment; he also lended from few others from whom i thought of asking some to make it out ) and do not have enough funds for this month to have my hands on it . Will have a couple of long rides with TBTS this month and give it to my brother (after the 6th service at 15K) and get back my gladiator for time being.

Bro, I am consoling myself to have my hands on gladiator electricals, do required modification to convert it to DC and and fit the 35W BiXenon HID in it (of course with your guidance and from the light's Guru DRVTM -Dr Vivek). Basically, its like i am having a sample bike to play with all modification i planned on my GS150R and that too on my own (or atleast to certain extent possible ). This will keep me engaged without getting stressed up until i can get the necessary funds accumulated.

May god save my gladitor .

No 250cc from suzuki, but they have unveiled a new 110cc bike called Hayate and a new 125cc scooter called Swish.

The 110cc Hayate seems similar to Slingshot 125cc.

The 125cc Swish is the same 125cc Access, not much difference. Even the wheels are the old small 10-inch wheels as in Access and Activa, not bigger 12-inch wheels as was expected.

Apparently Suzuki Swish-125 is a close cousin of Access-125. Why do I feel that Suzuki might discontinue Access-125 production and replace it with Swish-125.
There was no point in giving it another name, Access-125 2012 model might have sufficed.

When I heard Hayate, I thought it was the bike which resembled Honda-Street, with 125cc though. I thought it'll be interesting to see its reception. Disappointed to see another slingshot's relative.

                They're playing safe, very-safe indeed.

                • I like the looks of the gw250. It would have been even cooler with round chrome headlights to match the shiny exhausts though.

Not sure what was its earliest price, but that is what i heard from SMK Motors, Porur (Chennai) on 30th Dec.

                          That's nearly 100 days, wow!

I booked mine with full payment and SVC delivery-team was calling for delivery within two weeks. There are members here who took delivery on the same day.

GS was my first bike too but, I had DL before going for the purchase. Hope you've your DL and I strongly urge you to have one otherwise.

I've ridden nearly 12000 kms on my GS now; successfully did trips to
                          - Mullayanagiri (highest mountain in Karnataka)
                          - Nandi Hills (tourist attraction near B'lore)
                          both with a Pillion.

                          all the best to you..

PS: new graphics looks great on White GS.
