Burning smell can also be possible due to old engine oil.

Yup, that's possible. It's been 4 months and 3000+ km since last oil change...

Generally I change oil at 2500 since it's Mineral. ASC also informed same to me, as Mineral oil doesn't last long...

Just been lazy and not riding much lately to get it replaced with Synthetic! [emoji12]

The pre-BS IV model. The one with the bronze coloured body panels.

I'm not sure of which version yet, but well, in any case, that's some tall gearing.

                Regards.

                    .
Yes, it is adjustable. Goto any good Honda showroom who service CBR250. You need to do this -

I assume hornet will be similar.
What is the top speed in fifth gear? I have managed to touch only 113 kmph on level road and that too after pushing for a long time and lowering my head as much as possible.

That's all it had really, 5th it reached 119 on a long stretch ducking down and full throttle.

Sometimes my bike wouldn't cross 108. It depends on the conditions. But anyway, why care about top speed?

                            Dear Friends,

I have clocked 12000+. Engine is getting better and better.
I would like to know about recommended replacements at this stage. be it chain, tyre or air filter. I have already bought motul fs oil.
                            I welcome your suggestions. TIA

Top speed does matter to me because before purchasing this bike I had seen YouTube videos showing top speed of 120 kmph or more. Now on level road my bike can touch 113 kmph only and sometimes even doesn't go past 105 kmph. Even my Unicorn could touch 120 kmph.

It's not like you'll be riding at top speed all the time, so why bother? Top speed isn't really an indicator of performance, see the Duke and Karizmas.

Anyways, it's only my opinion, and I'm not here to argue, so let's end this here. All I can say is that it depends on the conditions, and your shifting. Shift at 6.5-7k RPMs, and see the difference.
