Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
I did final sticker job last night. Used reflective stickers. In original design, there was sticker on fairing, I have omitted that. The Current strips are approximately half the width as that of the original plan. One thick strip is on the wind shield (can I call it as wind shield?) in continuations of the the Beast eyes. Small pieces of strips on alloy rim spokes and rear view mirrors too. Have a look.
Thin strips look better to my eyes at least. Retrospectively, the wider ones were too conspicuous/flashy!

Rookie joining the rtr tribe
Hello All,
I am new member in this forum. Have been a silent reader for a long time now. I thank all the members of this forum and specially this thread as I gathered a lot of information about motorcycles and apache rtr in general.
Today I became a proud owner of the apache rtr 160, my first motorcycle. I am a novice rider and do not have much experience about motorcycles. Before I rode a pulsar 135 for about 10 Kms and splendour for about 40 kms. I was apprehensive as everybody told me that apache is high revving and pick up is very high, so it will be difficult for a new rider. But after getting delivery I rode for about 3 kms (mostly in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears) and felt comfortable. The power was not overwhelming for me.
I opted for dual disc setup and hope to have a long bonding between me and my bike.
Thanks to everyone of this wonderful forum

I felt some buzzing sensation on the pillion foot pegs, when I was sitting as a pillion and my friend was riding the bike. I felt numbing sensation on my foot. Is it normal for the new rtr?Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly. ~Author Unknown
