Yup. Checked the owners manual. Says dc. Sorry for the mistake!! I want to change the head lamp to a different color. The beast eyes n the head lamp don't go.

i bought it from a sticker/upholstery shop here in trivandrum, you could get the same at cheaper rates in bangalore...and they are also available in ebay

P.S. about that last query about light color, i suppose you could go in for an OSRAM cool blue 35 , but they wont provide any lighting improvement, but the white color matches the DRLs but hey this all could void your warranty, so please think twice before changing it.
i am currently running 100/90 Osram cool blues but its too much and isnt worth it plus heat issues, i would go back to stock or my old 35/35 Cool blues soon

Thanks Buddy ,actually my friend is going to buy it very soon (keen on getting ABS after a fall few months back due to wheel lock ) .We stay near ITPL whitefield .

Sorrry for Back to back posts, I'll suggest people's in Mumbai to buy that 200rs waala bulb from CST more then Worth H4

or you can easily fit HID too donot worry about electrical warranty its of no use... Just Relax !!!

Any HID would need DC set up only!!

My suggestion: If you are using HID then please use projectors with it.

The reason is , HID is high intensity light which is reflected through the reflector of the bike, which in turn results more high intensity light on road and riders from opposite direction making it hard for them to see.

Projectors would be little expensive, on ebay there is a kit for Rs3500 and it will focus the light beam to dedicated area rather than spreading all over!!

INMO HID is worth with Projector else it's just a white light with more spreading effect!!

Well congratulations are on the way to your friend then. The vehicle's a magnificent choice! And abs is worth every penny. Im sure shabaz n I can vouch for it under oath! Itpl is far from where I live, but you could try triton tvs. They're good as far as I've heard.

Thanks for info on the bulbs. I don't want hid. Just the osram cool blue will do. Only for color. Im happy with the lighting for now.

Hi guys, i want to convert my bike to DC.What things should i look upon?I will be running on 35w HID.
Went to a nearby mechanic, he said coil rewinding and pulsar's rectifier will do the job and would cost 900 INR.Please help me guys.

Coil rewinding should me done by an expert only.
