I am seriously thinking to sell it now as I am gonna buy ninja 300... but still very much disturbed with the service centers...
Firstly it would be good if you could use capital letters when required. I actually looked for full stops and then started reading the next sentence.

Now coming to the whistling noise? Are you sure its from the engine head? If yes, revv it a little and feel for any gas leaks around that area. If that happens, get it fixed again properly.
Second thing, were you trying to reach "top speed" with two people on the bike? What were you thinking?
Obviously it will drop as its more weight on the bike, and we have discussed numerous times that top speed depends on various things.

With 1 pillion I previously reached 120kmph. but this time only 92kmph with same 1 pillion. and for the noise it is actually like high frequency friction sound which resembled whistling not like air flow...

          Apachians!!

have been riding a MENACE since past 18 months, lately i am feeling that the bike has become rough i mean the front fork has become soft every small bump feels like m ramming my menace into a crater
also the throttle response is irregular between 4 to 5 k rpm.
plus have been thinking of switching to a fully synthetic OIL .....please suggest me on this as well

Also please take to a service center..I had the same issue of front fork becoming too soft...That happend after I had to change my front mud guard...
Got it rectified in 5-10 minutes...

Went to Tvs svc for chain adjustment and it was done..After few km of 90's the chain has gone loose & is making hell lot of noise.. & once the chain adjustment not had fallen off, is it time to change the chain & sprocket??

First time in 47K Kms, my front tire has puncture. Actually a big crack. Had to apply double sealant to seal it. Time to change the tire. Would R15's front(90/80 17) fit perfectly? Any one??

I personally didnt try it as it is almost impossible to find in Blore but a few have tried it and they were very happy. It should fit correctly too. Also, if someone is migrating from TVS srichakras what can you expect

I myself recently got Pilot Sporty 90/90-17 and am happy with it dry/rain/sand etc. (Bought it from changemytyre.com) One thing to be noted is even though it is 90/90 same as stock, it fits differently, more rounded, (It doesnt look as beefy as stock from front) so it might make the tyre slightly taller. Just thought of sharing this info.

guys need some help. My APACHE RTR 160 has done around 8700 km. After recent 4th service of my bike.
My bike is getting overheated after 15-20 min of travel. The heat can be easily seen around my legs, and some times the heat goes up till the tank of the RTR and i can feel it my thighs.
I am not sure what is the problem.

47k for one tyre?R15 v2 front would fit perfect and is one of the best option, though puncture prone I think.
                              zapper fs is another option..

My RTR runs a hell lot better/cooler on 40 grade oil than with 30 from TVS.

Check the engine oil level and viscosity. Also check for AFR screw. If it is less than 3 full rotations from the leanest position, set it to around 3-3.5. I had personally experienced overheating due to lean mixture, though not to the extent that you have mentioned.

PS Which oil are are you using?
