    (1) Clutch and throttle cable free play checked and kept at recommended level after playing with them at different setting.
    (2) Drive chain slackness checked
    (3) Brake checked

    Hi
It happens with my bike too.
The first ride of the day brings this problem. Suppose you are in 3rd gear doing 27 & you are keeping the throttle at constant level. It hiccups. But it lasts for only about 100metres or so at max.
I showed it to my svc too . They are unable to solve this issue.
So what I do the moment it hiccups is I roll off the throttle ,give it some revs (4-5k rpm) with the clutch depressed & then continue my ride.
It doesnt happen everyday. Say twice or thrice a week. Try my method. It might work. It might not solve the issue but it makes it less annoying.
Another point to consider is not to let the bike getting hiccups for long(as in your case 1km) Othervise for the whole day it behaves lethargic.

Few days back I kept my bike at mall parking and went for work, as I returned I noticed my front brakes were not working, I mean I had to press the whole lever to get a small effect of disc brakes. I noticed that there was no brake oil.
I came home and as I had brake oil, I tried opening the nuts of the reservoir, but as my luck goes, they were rusted and the grooves gave up

I thought this might be a big issue as an year back I changed the whole caliper setup. I went to the shop, he refilled the oil, took 10Rs and voila everything was normal, Sometimes these incidents scare me off

I would say run bike a little more and let it idle for 2-3 mins more. I am 100% sure you are running lean. Most of the bikes are tuned lean to pass emission tests and achieve operating temps faster . While getting the jerks pull choke lever and see if it goes away, if it does then as i said it was running lean, however it does not mean you use choke lever to pull away from jerking . Choke usage should be for ONLY AND ONLY for cold starts , i said because its a diagnostic test to see if AFR is lean or rich.

Thanks for your suggestion, actually I am using this technique but that is not the solution.however I am going to leave my bike with ASC on saturday so that they can check it in the morning and see if they can not rectify it other i will initiate legal action to get new bike.

thank you too for your suggestion but it gets jerk while moving and the position of chock lever makes it impossible to use it while riding. Regarding the lean mixture I myself tuned it using the external Tachometer and checked it next day and from next day onward by turning AFR screw quarter turn and again quarter turn next day, since it gives problem in the morning I can not check AFR in different setting in single day .As per my little knowledge it is not related to tuning .Yesterday I changed the spark plug but got no improvement.I have already sent a mail to TVS customer care and I would like to all the fellow rider who are facing this problem to bang the head of TVS people along with me.
I request all the fellow rider to give me some knowledge regarding my doubt if is related to TPS or TCI or SECONDARY AIR INJECTION or OIL PUMP

              New spy shots have arrived.
              Here we see new additions.
A nice tacho. Nice pillion seat. Possibly fatter front forks.
Well the remora tyres remain as it is.
So are the handlebar grips, mirrors & various buttons on the handlebars.
Lets hope it isnt vibey & packs a punch north of 23bhp

Actually bike isnt running lean. When you start it rpm needle hovers around 1.1krpm.
After a minute or two of riding it reaches 1.4/1.5k rpm. Which is the same as recommended in the manual.
It isnt a headache as it just occurs twice a week at max or sometimes it doesnt occur for a whole month or so

In my case it idles at around 1.1krpm but it reaches to 1.4k rpm range after 1 to 2km running as I am from dehradun I am scared of thinking what will happen in coming month when winter will show its full power.apart from technical problem it hurts my ego too when everybody from the office has gone and I am warming up my rtr and instead of seeing them in RVM I am being seen

In that case i wont even bother .
Also somehow i feel hiccups are related to fuel delivery. I drive a honda unicorn and CBZ Xtreme , both have equal cold and Hot RPM i.e 1200.
Never faced any hiccups or flat spots. I believe apache comes with mikuni carb . Please correct me on carb make as i haven't quite seen apache closely.

I managed to wait SIX long months, based on similar rumors Finally, I told myself that a newer model wasn't coming any time soon, and went ahead. It's been 9 months since.

All I am saying is, you can't trust TVS until the bike is actually out, and on sale. Let's wait and see where this one goes.

Btw, they seem to have done away with the analog tachometer (if there is any truth to the pics in the article). Would've been nice to have some dials on the cluster.

                          Hey Guys,
Hope all are doing well. My bike is doing well. Gives me great pleasure when I ride it. Has gave me the freedom to go to far away places, which otherwise I possibly wouldn't have gone. I generally rev my bike and blame it on the apache but I just cannot ride it slow. It just urges me to push harder. And it revs quickly. It reaches 100 km/h pretty easily and so far I have achieved a top speed of 114km/h. But will it affect the bike's engine in the long run? PS: I donot rev it till the redline in any gear. My bike is 5 months old and I ride it only in the weekends.
Also, I have noticed that on the highway it gets pretty disturbed when any big truck or bus goes by and gets affected by cross winds. Is it the case with all apaches or something is off in my bike?

Transparent silicone RTV is simple and easy and it's good for simple sealing such as O rings et cetera. I haven't used Loctite RTV, but Loctite is costly and in my opinion Loctite is better than Anabond. I've had good results with Loctite thread locker, which helps keep the nuts and bolts in place and doesn't undo themselves under heavy vibrations. My suggestion would be to use a Grey RTV or transparent RTV and see how it fares, they do their job well 98% of the time, I've personally had good results using both.
                            Cheers!

Thank you very much for your inputs!!
Last time the engine head was replaced, the mech applied TVS's gasket maker and it was not a 100% leak proof product. He did not use thread locker as TVS did not supply it as a kit (bajaj supplies both).
I watched some videos supplied by Loctite. The mech applied a certain thickness gasket maker to the component and allowed the gasket maker to harden a bit then assembled the components without smudging the gasket maker. Later he tightened the nuts very lightly allowed the gasket maker to harden a bit more then torqued the nuts to specified torque.
I shall go ahead with Loctite grey or blue gasket maker based on the temperature rating and availability.

In this scenario all bikes get disturbed what you can do to loose your grip on handlebar I mean reduce the pressure put by your palm and just try to hold it as light as you can and see the difference I assume that you are holding it more tight when any truck passes by you to keep the bike stable where as you have to do the exact opposite

But I do not hold the handlebars tight. I keep the pressure as light as possible and try to grip the tank with my thighs. Still I will check again this weekend during my morning ride and try to keep it as light as possible.
