Starting problem indicates carburettor not properly tuned

                  jee,
There is no specific turn for optimum setting.Number of turn varies from bike to bike.If you want to tune use sibun sir's method ,it is easy. Before tuning clean the carburator properly.Ensure the airfilter is cleaned and oiled properly. Also ensure there is no air leak.if there is air leak you have not get proper tuning and spark plug always show lean mixing.

Hey All! Not much posts from me because the bike is running perfectly without any problems.

During holidays I got hold of dad's passion pro (17.5k kms Nov 2012 model). Was not in a good shape. Took it to the service centre and got much needed works done. Carb clean and retune, throttle cable replacement, chain clean and lubed, side stand replacement, drain bolt and washer replacement.

Got a call in one hour that bike is ready. I made the payment and started the bike. The sound was just awesome. Also every work that was mentioned in job card was done. Awesome service by mechanic. I tipped him 100Rs and went home happily.

Bike's accelerator is becoming super tight after bike is standing in rains. Why is it happening? Any solution?

Same thing happened to my friend's cd100. He lubed the accelerator cable, it got better. Mostly water got into the accelerator assembly (don't know what to call it, the box which holds the cable on the handle). But a few days later the cable snapped.

These cables are friction free cables. If we put any lube then they will break. This morning accelerator was too tight, I was afraid that it will break.

                            How about putting WD40?

Nothing happened to my cables till now even though i applied few drops of oil during the last change. Accelerator, clutch cables are working fine

WD40 may help. But in his case the cable was 7 years old. Even with the new OE cable it became hard within 3 days of riding in the rain. A few drops of oil will help.
