My 8 yrs splendor still has an offer for 22k rs. Has done more than 100k kms. and my 2.4 yrs old RTR does'nt go for more than 32-35kOriginally posted by road_ripper View PostHa ha ha.. if that was the case then an RD 350 would cost -60k.. i.e, the owner will give the bike to us and also give 60k with it..
Coming back to depreciation, i guess Hero honda bikes have really awesome resale value, a 5 years old splendor was sold by my friend for 28k
, while the mechanic quotes my 3 years old P180 ug3 value as 32k

@praful
I'd rather find my Blue bug and buy it back

with a worn out clutch,acceleration drops due to increase only in rpm's with no increase in speed.Originally posted by yuv_biKING View PostI feel my bike decelerates quickly than usual.. what could be prob... will it be due to worn out clutch...
deceleration cannot be quicker.coz there wont be proper engine breaking.the clutch still keeps slipping. whatever it is get ur clutch checked.

I don't think I'll be selling the Red beast. Atleast till the time the bike can be serviced I will be keeping it!Originally posted by onlinesatish View Post@praful

Is your bike still in the 2 year warranty period?Originally posted by truelypulsarian View PostGuys my bike completed 12k kms till now no major problems but now a days iam hearing some strange sound from the scilencer the sound is like some loose nut vibrating while accelerating i tought external nuts on the scilencer are making noise & checked that weather they are loose but they are fine the sound is coming from inside the scilencer what could be the problem?
Also check the nuts on the Exhaust-tec box below, that is also one of the culprits for this sound.
As with the design, the rear pegs feel more vibes compared to the front pegs. If you are feeling an increase in vibes only in the foot pegs and not the handle bars or any other areas of the bike then check :-Originally posted by Durvesh View Postguys my Bike completed 36000km.

1. If both the LH/RH stays for the bike are not loose.
2. Chain is not dry/loose.
3. Balancer shaft and all check in the last, its very rare for it to go off. Mine hasn't in the past 52K kms._________________________
