      • I have tried the Wurth chain spray and the OKS chain spray, finally I've settled to using the SAE 90 gear oil, which works out better from VFM perspective for me.

But incase you are specifically looking out for a spray, get the OKS 451 O-Ring spec spray.

          • Ask one of the Mumbai members like Chilled_Fire, they would have a fair idea where you could get a spray.

Btw, I'm pretty sure you will get it on Lamington Rd. if you search well enough!

                • My bike also an year old now

I like to add to burnrubbernotursoul that my bike also completed its birthday on 24 oct ( i was removed from the member list so replying late)
Bike's done 6k and running just like new
Its in its complete stock condition and been perfect all over.
Haven't seen any major issues but during the rainy seasons my bike did got screwed. Don't know how but some kind of seepage occured and i had to extract out around 3 litres of water from my fuel tank. NO reasons till now as to how it happened. Bike running good so not really cared about it.
drastic variations in milage ranging fron around 30 to 45. though i'm not a rough rider.
average speed of around 70. max reached 125 (got scared so slowed down )
no vibrations even at 100 which i do touch occasionally.
At one point i do saw some oil leking from rear shocker though in minute quantity as was coated in dust. Enquired about it and mechanic saids its normal and occurs if the road is not good as was the seasonal effect here.

                  Concerns about upgrades :
I'm thinking about upgrading my stock bike in :
1: Changing the air filter to k&n costing 1800.
2: Changing the spark plugs to iridium costing 1850.
                  3. Changing the engine oil to synthetic costing around 1500.

Now problem is my of my friends suggested to stick with the normal oil of castrol 20w50 and reported some clutch isues of using synthetics (as said its good in the begining but then some times the gear slips off to lower or neutral )
Airfilter some say yes some say not a good idea considering that i don't ride much so won't be a good option as you can see that i've done only 6k in the whole year.
Same happed with spark plugs that irridium would be advisable only for fast rides as it doesn't skips the sparks but for normal riding the stock is fine.

rest assured the bike is in perfect condition listening to them i don't want my bike to get screwed like theirs whichis choked and begs for air.

Anyone please suggest me some good performance modifications.

                  Thanks

According to my knowledge, if the quantity of Engine Oil used is more than the prescribed 1150-1200 ml, then there are chances if the excess oil leaking from the engine head.

So be careful of the Quantity of Engine oil that you put in.

This happened in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gear. And like always I was totally confused, but then again I got a call on cell phone and I switched off the bike to talk. But when I started the bike again every thing was fine and the accleration was right on spot with a little of lag. Not sure why this happ any clues MG what was wrong... chetan, praful, payeng any input bro....

Wednesday is the bikes 5th service and i cant find the service booklet ... by the way list of things i am gonna get changed and/or repaired.

                                1. Air Filter

                                5. Engine Oil with the Oil seal checked coz of the oil leak issue.

                                6. Balancer shaft repairs ( too much of ghrrrrrrrrrr ghrrrrrrrrrrrr)
