Please, do not quote an entire picture thread for it is even difficult on the desktop, leave alone the tablet. Request you guys to edit your posts and remove the pictures that you quoted.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
Best way to run in is to ride the bike in the way you normally intend to, but don't keep constant RPM's for long and on continuous rides take short breaks. And do change the oil when the bike starts to feel rough, even if its just a 100kms old. Don't forget to redline at least once after a while, the extra force is needed for a perfect seal.

Ravi: any update on this. Were you able to ride more with the Headlight ON.Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostRecently, I have put two relays for the Osram NBP 55/60w bulb (one for high beam and one for low beam). Yesterday, I was riding with another ZMR and the intensity of my headlight is completely masking the ZMRs. The illumination and intensity is more than double of the stock ZMR. The low beam was really awesome.
But, yesterday I noticed little melting of the reflector and I don't know if it happened after I put the relays or before. I have been using this Osram bulb for the past 6 years without relay and with absolutely no issues. Just now I removed the relay setup. I will check in the evening how is the light output without the relays.
WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR...

@ are someone I had grown to like .When You started talking to me , your knowledge on engines was next to Zero...You knew nothing about Electrical circuits, nothing about battery and it's voltage, nothing about RR,nothing about charging method and voltages, nothing about compression or how to test it, and why or how it is important......
Now within 3 months you had learned so much , you surprise me...Half way through all this do you remember , you sent a message apologizing for slow learning, because " I am a Bio Student Sir".... I was wondering why you should send such a message when you were on the right track and doing good.....
Now You can definitely guide and help members in these subjects .... and I have seen your recent posts showing so much knowledge, and a helping attitude..
Good Luck keep it up.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
I am really happy to read this post from you sir. I have been feeling a bit guilty to disturb you so many times with my too-little knowledge questions, like using multimeter continuity check, and that was why I sent a message with apologies. I am really glad to know that you are happy for my learning. I had done this out of enthusiasm and the respect that I have for my bike which gave me great memories going places, and I should take better care of it, and it would be only me, and not anyone else. I know I have learnt only drop in the ocean, and will continue to learn from the inputs and experiences of fellow bikers here, and under the guidance of experts like you. I have learnt things all from this forum, and I should share the same knowledge to others and I will be happy to do so.Originally posted by psr View Post@ are someone I had grown to like .When You started talking to me , your knowledge on engines was next to Zero...You knew nothing about Electrical circuits, nothing about battery and it's voltage, nothing about RR,nothing about charging method and voltages, nothing about compression or how to test it, and why or how it is important......

Nithin, why do you want to buy one, when I already have it. You can come over to my place and we could check. Even if you buy one, there is no adopter that fits the karizma plug. You need to make an adopter yourself with an old plug.Originally posted by nithin2767 View PostHey ravi i was surprised to see your post today because it was just yesterday when i thought i should do a compression test because my bike has done 50000 kms. I googled on "karizma compression test" today and i could see some pictures and the picture was yours from xbhp. Can you please tell me where you could source the compression tester in hyderabad.
Shirish, I am yet to test. Didn't get any chance to ride for long hours at night. Moreover, I removed the relay setup to check the difference in light output. I noticed 20% drop without the relay setup. I am going to put the relay setup back this weekend and would check when I get to ride for long hours.
Meanwhile, you can go ahead and buy Osram Nightbraker Plus and use it, simply a plug and play. The light output would be 30% more than your stock one which would definitely be helpful in city. You can go for the relay setup later once I confirm its safe for the reflector.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
I found the Osram Night Breakers much better last night.. me and prateek2210 were riding my bike for almost 1hr with the headlight on and the battery seems to be getting charged perfectly.. for sure the intensity is much better now after the stator replacement. Would like to add to what psr sir has mentioned above. You were really helpful..Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View Post.

Is there any one in this forum who would like to share a new pair with me?

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
I took a pair for 800/- + shipping cost of 50/- from Buy car accessories Online in India | Autotrends.in Online Car Accessories Store seems to be out of stock.. I gave the other piece to my friend who uses RTR180.. You will have to find someone who will be ready to share the other piece with you.Originally posted by sounakray View Post@rreneav1987, even I'm planning to go for the Osram night breaker plus, but I can't find it anywhere online without a pair, which costs 1.1k and above. Besides Osram you can try for Philips extreme vision 55/60w http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post664706Originally posted by sounakray View Post@rreneav1987, even I'm planning to go for the Osram night breaker plus, but I can't find it anywhere online without a pair, which costs 1.1k and above.
