They charged just for the paid service charges and meter console left and right support rubbers, in all Rs 304/-.
I took oil with me so they didn't charged me for that.
So the rubber available at delhi here in maharashtra its still unavailable. I am using motul 300v but its 1000km bike start vibrating the gear shift not that smooth and i feel like something leaking from bike any solution for this?
And is there any solution for the fairing vibration?

300~400 ml drain is too low for comfort. Check if the engine smokes on morning starts, indicating Valve stem seal leak....In any case keep an eye on the Oil level every 500 Kms...Since you had not changed oil for 2 yrs, I would suggest you use Shell Rimula R4 in your next oil change and use it for 1,000 Kms at least. The higher level of Detergents in the R4 will help clean the residual deposits inside the engine, and help engine to run better.
      Good Luck.
Hello sir. I was not able to ride much with both my bike's just parked in for long.
Engine doesn't smokes anything visible as such in the morning. I think observation will be the key here to check for any leakages around the engine area those are not visible easily.
Also, will take up a oil change after 1000kms and then use Shell one.
Thank you sir for pitching in.

Yes, rubber was available and I was also quite amazed to see that.

300v is double Easter synthetic oil, karizma does with stand synthetic oils and doesn't leak from anywhere but I have gained knowledge from here that it's better to use mineral in karizma and it serves you better.
Also, gear shift not smooth, 300v might have caused some clutch slippage and that would have been reason for hard gear shifts.
I would recommend to use any mineral oil and then see if anything persits.

              Hi Aniket

Couldn't get the pic clicked without the front cowl, I had the old rubber with me but couldn't find that today. Although, I have pics with the rubber fitted in place. Let me know if that would benefit you, I will post.

The rubber shape is of a semicircle with upper part that hides behind the meter console is slim as compared to the bottom and holds on to 2 hooks behind the console area.

The rubber costed me 114/- for a pair from hero svc.

                Hey guys,

Posting after a very long time here. I am not much active but keep reading reviews.

I have a query regarding my Karizma R where I am looking at replacing the rubber parts (between the body/frame) that have come with the bike. They are now 6+ years old and some of them have cracked too.

I am getting vibrations post 70 kmph too. Irrespective of the distance I drive, I change the oil every 6 months. It has now clocked 25K kms in 6 years.

Need some help if there is some way to get those rubber parts changed?!

                Thanks.

Hey guys, I just had a question. My bike had gone in for service today. I had asked the mechanic to put Shell rimula R4 for my bike. But instead he has put Rimula R2. Is this fine? Else I would like to drain it out immediately.

r2 vs r4 wont be some huge diffrence however r4 is designed better for newer engines. however you will still do fine with r2. no need to drain as of now.
                          change at 2000 km.

Hi guys, just returned back yesterday from 2000 km trip to badrinath on my zma.I faced a peculiar issue. On plains bike performed well but when hills started and gained some altitude then missing problem started between 4k to 5k RPM. There was a missing bwetween said RPMs and when climbing on gradient, RPM refused to cross further from the exact point where the missing start. Then I had to shift to lower gears to gain power to climb. Even on high altitude straight road with slight gradient, bike refused to cross 60-70 kmph @ 4k to 5k RPM.While returning back, this problem continued on 400km run on highway even on plains- missing jerking between 4k to 5k RPM.

Before going to trip I replaced air filter, clutch plates, spark plug, chain sprocket set, engine oil.My bike is 2 year 24k kms old.Right now I am at lucknow my home town and now this problem dissapeared.

FYI- I faced same problem 1 year back on plains itself and simply by changing air filter, missing problem went away but this time I already installed new filter before trip.Pl suggest reasons-

Is it due to rich AFR setting, missing problem started on high altitude. But my steed is giving good mielage?

                              Any air leakage?

                              Again bad air filter?

                              Electrical/ spark plug problem?

Sure! Aniket, I'll got to the svc side this Sunday. So that time I would ask for the rubber.
Fuel sensor is the culprit here I think, get that replaced from the svc.. It would solve the problem.
