) and stock spark plug (working perfectly fine) with no issues at all... she returns more than 40kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic conditions.. i keep her in above 6k rpm most of the time..

so i pulled over to check if my exhuast was loose as it kinda sounded like that sorta thing, but no, it was fine. i then turned the bike off and then fired it back up again an yep there it was still, a kinda sick scratchy extra engine noise was still there, so i quickly jumped back on an rode it back home carefully. on the way i didnt really notice any major loss of power and the engine check light on the dash didnt come on either. so i got my yamaha dealer to pick it up an find out what was wrong and to fix it. so this wednesday just gone i called them to see if they had figured it out, and the problem was the cam chain adjuster pulley had come loose an it was banging up against the engine case! luckily the mechanic reckons it should be covered under the warrenty. my r15 is only about 7 or 8 months old with 9500 kms on the odo, so i was wondering if anyone here has had the same problem or has heard of the same thing happening to someone else??? plus the clutch cable snapped when it had about 5500 kms on the odo, wich was also replaced under warrenty!!! not sure wether its the way i ride it or if the bike is maybe a lemon??? i do tend to ride hard though.
