There is no squeaking noise or anything, wondering what can be the reason that the disk brake is not working that effective and the front disk operation is too hard today.

What shall i do as i recently bleeded my brake fluid and refilled it.
I think your brake pad has absorbed the diesel thus affecting it, try washing with a detergent.

Why did you or would you wash with diesel? Automotive shampoo is not that expensive.

I don't think running 60/55 watt bulbs is a good idea, recharging the battery during use may cause a problem and the reflectors may begin to melt/disscolour with the extra heat , best to go for 2x35w/35w bixenons and run them together, many of us use this set up with no issues, just keep the rpms above 3k. Better to check out the let there be light thread, you will find your answers there.

The 3k rpm is standard to keep your battery completely charging when you ride the bike. i m not sure about 2 bixenons as i m using one stock 35 and other bi xenon on high beam.

No probs at all, I have been running for 6 months, many have been using for well over a year, remember the high beam is the same as low beam, the solenoid in the bixenon just moves the position, contact Navnish on the forum, he sells good quality kits. If you can stretch to a projector set up with bixenons, that will be the best you can get.

Bad idea, don't do it, it will just damage your refelector in 3 months or even less time. Best would be to do for HIDs and if you want the same kind of color as your current stock bulbs, go for HID with 4300K temperature for best visibility

                            Hello there..
I am currently running following setup..
                            Low Beam- stock 35W bulb.
High Beam - Philips Premium 60/55W bulb (85 Rs.)
disconnected Pilot bulbs to save 10 W

And I use low beam all the time and High Beam when required.. I have never had any battery issues.. as said earlier, if bike is above 3K RPM, I feel comfortable using high beam, otherwise uses low beam.
Just a bit of caution, nothing else.

I hope, you already know, how to adjust the headlight beam with adjusting screws on either side of speedoMeter.

For battery, I would have gone for one size up.. that is maintenance free 5Amph tata green or whichever type..no practical idea.. search in this thread, and ping the people who have done that already..

                            ride on..

                            • just one question out of curiosity, looking at HID which are fitted on bikes, how can one know the color temperature are whether 4300k or 6000k.

Asking as i ordered one HID from navneesh and i am pissed out as the range what it gives is totally useless.

                              • @all: upgrading to 2* 55w bulbs is not a good idea and instead the glow won't be good as it would require more power and the battery won't be able to support it and you will notice that the battery is draining up fast.
(after installing the 2*55w bulbs you'll feel that the 35w bulbs were better)
The best idea is to either get HID's intalled (even the Chinese ones work better) or get the headlight beam/focus adjusted.
P.S.- all that I've said is based on personal experience.
