bro go immediately to the nearest authorized dealer and ask they to check and clean the speedometer sensor in the front wheel. normally they wont pay single paise for that bcoz it will go with the warranty. dont forget to take service book while consulting the service center.Originally posted by thangasaravana View PostHI ,

go to the service centre, whatever the problem, they should get it repaired for free as your bike is still new and most probably still under warranty..after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

search for the mrf showroom by name jamathis.. its in the main road itself, to the right side just before the signal.. but dont go there.. take a left at the signal and to your right, you'll find a tyre shop by name super tyres which is in the corner of a cross road... i bought it there.. bargain for less than INR 2000.. hope this helps you..Originally posted by TijoJoy View PostThanks Dude for the info. Could you please point out the name of the tyre shop that u got it from, so that i can directly go there and bargain.
I enquired in perfect riders they where quoting a price of Rs 2500 +
.
bro, i cant believe the fact that they charged you 100 bucks for checking bar end weights...Originally posted by Prakritij View PostFriends, last Week I took her for 7th Servicing and got it delivered on Monday
after a small accident the LHS Clip-on got a little bent which I asked them to rectify and they replaced it. However they didn't tighten the bar-end weight allen bolt and I found it missing Today. Luckily the bar-end weight was there.
since this is a fault of the SVC do I have to pay for a new allen bolt?
I am not worried about the cost, what I am worried about is their lack of sincerity in the work.
I asked them a lot other things to do for the Service and I am afraid if they did a similar shoddy job for the others too.
I know I should not contact Yamaha for petty matters like this but what if they left a Engine mounting bolt loose or a Wheel comes out like the allen bolt?
attached is the Job list which I feel they overcharged me. Total charge for the Service was INR2026. I am ready to pay but I want Good results too. Please comment

thats outright ridiculous..
i mean what amount of work do they do while checking the bar end weights? speak to the showroom manager if they continue to charge you like this.. and also other labor charges are also pretty surprising for me.. check with other showrooms...
A crash on d road may kill d biker n d bike, but d relationship btwn d bike n d biker never dies.
Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby.

i think it may be problem of brake unit. go to the yamaha service center and ask them to clean the unit and and re assemble it. most probably the problem will get solved. also check the brake pad wear out level, which could help you to find out wear out rate and problems with that!Originally posted by free2rock_50 View PostI got my Rear Brake pad replaced on 7500 Km . bro my bike have strange mileage strategy if i goes at decent speed of 40-70km/hr it will only give 37-45kmpl but if i drive at speeds higher she is giving 50-60kmpl. really strange isn't it! My bike dont want go like all desi commuters; she want herself to prove to be born to race!Originally posted by drarchit View Postthis time i got around 42 kmpl.....total kms were 480...and fuel ws 11.68l of speed...quite satisfying

Problem below 3k RPM
Guys mine is a new V1 - 520kms on ODO - 20days old
I have a strange problem, when i come below 3k rpm, the bike behaves as tho there is a blockage in the fuel. This does not happen on a cold engine, it moves smooth. This happens only after i travel 4-5kms. Its very hard to travel in traffic or crowded streets with this problem where one cannot rev more than 3k rpm. Even on the first gear i cannot travel in less speeds. Even with half clutch acceleration, this happens and the engine stopped twice last night.
What might be the reason for this problem ?
I would be pointing out this during my first service. But wonder what would be the source for this problem. Experts, pls throw some light on this !!

The fuel was above F-. This seem to happen when i ride at constant speed and suddenly slowed down to 2k range. It does not happen when i start my engine and move.
does it happen all the time or occasionally?
-> Happened twice so far. The second time, the engine came to a stop. Would notice this scenario more closely and let know.R15 - V1 - Red
